Mormons. There was this one back in High School that left an awful taste in my mouth. I'm not a big fan of Mitt Romney either, so that's not helping that out. In all fairness, I'm not a big fan of overly religious folk, but yeah... That's mine. Not really that proud of it.
I really dislike stupid people, not meaning to flatter myself or anything but I do have an above average intelligence and I do like to think about everything and nothing. I mean people who don't even try to think are the worst. What's the point of being part of the most intelligent species on Earth if you don't do anything with it?
Oh and I really don't like people who are that patriotic. It's why my trip to America left me slightly bemused on why every other house had an American flag around it. To be fair I did visit the weeks around the 4th of July but still.
I mean a little bit of national identity is one thing but being blindly loyal to a country you were randomly born in for no real reason is just dumb.
Overall though i'm non-judgemental to a fault. Never stick me on a jury for gods sake.
I don't get patriotism either. Why should you be so proud of the place you just happen to be born in. Patriotism is a very selfish thing because what it really seems to be saying is that you love that country because by some random happen-stance you came into existence there.

I'm the same with people who only listen to one genre of music (yes, this includes you, people who only listen to soundtracks). How do they not get bored?
I'll admit I have mixed feelings about gay men. I tend to see them the way many people see bronies: getting all up in your face about it because they crave validation. I'm sure there are plenty of gay men that are not so flamingly needy, who just go about their business without the need to draw attention to themselves.
Lesbians (and women in general) seem much more at peace with their sexuality.
Honestly, I don't care for Republicans or Mormons that much. Not going to get into details but I think most Republicans are dumb, and most Mormons are lazy.
Bronies: Yes, I know bronies aren't all losers or something like that but when someone announces that their a brony I automatically put them in the "emotionally damaged" list.
Racist (sort of): Maybe it's my extreme time around red necks and the internet but when I see on the morning news that a black man has been arrested I can't help but go "Big surprise".
Thin girls who say "I'm fat": This instantly loses ANY form of respect I have for them; unless they have an actual problem where they always think their fat (We call this anorexia) they are attention seeking and I can't be bothered to give a fuck bout them.
"Cool dudes": You know the ones, sunglasses at all times, arms out of their trucks, always serious looking. Fuck them.
Whore clothing: I'm sorry, no, you may not be a whore, but if your wearing a low tank top and tight yoga pants in public then yes, you are acting like a whore to me. This is a two way street though, a guy walking around without a shirt and in shorts is the same way. (Unless he's moving something in the summer)
Extreme potheads: Now, if I hated pot heads as a whole I would have to abandon my closest friends. But smoking pot every once and then and smoking it every day are two different things, and if you smoke it every day I am automatically inclined to look down on you.
Teachers pets: Not people who do hard work, no no; people who pretend their smart, know how to milk the education system and probably couldn't name our vice president.
Oh? What's that? 90 on a US history quiz?
Well now that your done studying, the treaty of Versailles was the end of what war?
No, "Civil War" is not the correct answer -.-
When someone says they haven't seen Star Wars, they lose some respect points from me. Oddly enough, I don't get that reaction when dealing with people who didn't like it, just people who haven't seen it.
Also, Christians who don't follow any of the positive exercises of Christianity (love thy neighbor, etc.)
I have prejudice about British historians who specifically work on the periods of 1900-1918. Acting like all silly and stuff, it makes me think they're all blinded by nationalism.
If they actually worked on that period they would probably be the last people for nationalism. WWI was the death of rampant nationalism, at least for that generation. Or maybe I'm confusing them with french WWI historians. They're not a cheery lot.
Were you thinking of American WW2 historians or something? Can you explain?
I'm naturally wary of the far right. I also am extremely cautious around the religious fanatics. The fanatics make me think of the mentally ill, because I feel as if I have to tiptoe around them or risk being attacked. It's probably silly.
I think less of jingoists, especially those who call for war and even more so if they have a poor understanding of history.
I particularly hate for example the Americans who go "We saved the world in World War 2 all alone. France surrenders all the time. Russia didn't so anything". Don't get me started on the Cold war and the wars engendered by it like the Vietnam War.
I secretly suspect that female authors are far more likely to have a Mary Sue in their books then male authors.
I think my broad-ranging musical tastes are superior to other people who prefer only one or a few genres. Same goes for films and books.
I think people who get drunk lack self control, no matter how rarely they do it.
I think slightly less of people who take a dog into their home, then keep it outside the house - even when it is practical to do so and the dog doesn't mind.
I now have a permanent mental association between Indians and telemarketers/tech support. It is not a positive association.
If I see someone driving badly, I'll automatically assume they were elderly unless I see otherwise.
Note that I'm not defending any of these; after all, if I could defend them, they wouldn't be prejudices.
"Feminists" who think women are somehow superior to men. "Feminists" who scream and shout about 'strong, independent women' and in the same breath decry any woman who chooses to stay at home and raise children, or women who sleep around, or strippers, or models, as if somehow they are simply too stupid to realise they're being repressed. While this seems quite specific, I've noticed myself becoming more and more wary of feminists on the whole.
Whenever I see a news report about a young child gone missing, my first response is, "Did you check the step-father?"
Scenester culture, and pretty much anything that even remotely resembles it, really barks my shins. I think it's a combination of
[ul][li]unbelievable ignorance and lack of sophistication (most of which is due to youth, but that's not much of a redeeming factor), yet maintaining pretense of both high intelligence and supreme sophistication[/li]
[li]ridiculous concentrations of "prettiest snowflake" mentality[/li]
[li]aping gaming culture (especially the older 90s gaming culture) without any of the personal dedication associated with it.[/li][/ul]
It's also very easy to bleed into things like hipsterism, drinking/partying cultures (including "swag"), and (most cuntfacedly annoying of all) "straight-edge" culture, simply due to scenesters' tendency to ape the most popular thing of the moment.
What's worse is that I know a few people my age that haven't grown out of it yet, and though they all think I'm a nice person, I'm actually beginning to despise most of them.
Because when the status quo lets people down all too often the most damaged, obnoxious and stupid people who make the most noise and garner all the attention. So either mindbogglingly stupid things get done to appease the gibbering mob, or serious issues get written off by nature of their association with these groups of mewling morons.
11) Pot smokers. This is mostly because of the arguments for legalizing pot. "OMG it's not as bad as smoking or drinking" - which is a fine argument for outlawing smoking and drinking, but not legalizing pot. "OMG it doesn't cause cancer and it's not addictive" - Yes it can and yes it can be, I know; I've read the studies. Studies from countries where pot is legal, no less. "OMG no one's going to get hit by a high driver... LAWLSROFLWAFFLECAKESROFLCOPTERFFS... I'd drive like 15mph while high." Because slow moving objects are totally less of a hazard than fast moving traffic hazards, and cars stop becoming deadly at any speed under 20mph when plowed into pedestrians on a sidewalk. "OMG it would totally like, cure all of Meixco's drug cartel problems"... assuming the Mexican drug cartels were dumb enough not to switch to any other illegal merchandise.
This, with an addition. "Making it legal will make it safer for us." There is no guaruntee on that. I could see it going 2 different ways:
It could go the route of the tobacco companies, were they dont give a shit about thier product, intentionally leave it toxic to reduce prices, add chemicals to keep you addicted to it, and are now sliding down the slope to being hated by all and maybe even being illegal.
Or it could go the route of Brewing companies, were they strive to turn out quality product, even if it takes longer or cost more, they make sure its safe for consumption, try to promote responsible drinking, and are adored by people worldwide and will continue to be for years to come.
I think pot will go the tobacco route though. Why? Beer is culturally accepted. Pot isnt.
As for others prejudices:
1) Pacifist: To me, they are people who would sooner get shot then fight back. While I am not violent by any means, I will destroy anyone who treatened me or someone I care about, be it with guns, knives, both [http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_Ink_wSsKtVQ/SfHXPK-F2FI/AAAAAAAADGc/ZPU2TTItdF0/s400/91fdf65f303b0307ba2e017ee36dea23.jpg], or my bare fist/feet.
2) [Wo]Men who sleep around: I dont care what Gender they are (Im an equal opportunity offender), if you are living a slutty lifestyle, I will see you as someone who is a sad, miserable person who thinks they need sex to fix that, as well as being someone who needs to find out what a REAL relationship is, something you cant do with sex. In addition, I find the idea of "free love" to be disgusting and one of the worst concept to ever come to light. If anyone looks at my girlfriend in an even slightly suggestive way, I WILL slug you. Thats not a threat, thats a garuntee.
3) People who hate the military/police: Hate of soldiers is getting to a larger degree in this day and age, which is disturbing to me. Maybe its because I know alot of soldiers personally and have alot of soldiers in my family, but I cant abide by anyone bad mouthing soldiers. To that end, I absolutely DISPISE the Vietnam protesters, and probly would have gotten called all kinds of insults by my fellow teens because I would be standing with the soldiers, not the protesters. And from that same time period....
4) Commies: Depends on how much of a commie they are. One of my close friends in high school was "communist", but only because he liked the idea that everyone is equal no matter what, he didnt give a shit about the economics of it, and was ok with capitalist economics (and we would joke about it when I would kick his butt at any game involving money since I am a very hard-core capitalist.) However, the people who say that capitalism is the devil, the Soviet Union was awsome, and the like...I treat as lower than the farm dust on my shoes. And to those that say the Soviet Union and China arent actually communist, I say "Fine, then Iran isnt a theocracy."
5) Strippers/Hookers (especially those doing it out of choice): This goes back to the who hate for promiscuity thing mentioned above, but anyone who is a stripper or hooker I think is degrading themselves for no reason and are making themselves the playthings of evil men. On that note, any men who take in strippers and hookers (ESPECIALLY IF THEY ARE MARRIED!!) are nothing but sub-human scum as far as I am concerned, getting the same attention I would give an ant.
6) Environmentalist: I am not against keeping the world clean for the sake of keeping the world clean. I recyle, I keep my lights off during daylight hours, I open the windows when it is nice out, I ride my back rather than drive to classes (after driving in from my house 20 miles out of town), but environmentalist take this idea and bring it to extremes. Plus many of thier ideas for "protecting the environment" can backfire and destroy the environment, thier opposistion to control burning in Kansas being a prime example. Even more annoying is when they try to say there is no use for pickup trucks and I should sell mine and get a smart car. I can think of 4 good reasons I will never get a smart car:
What some roads around here become when it rains or snows.
Buses are Big.
18-Wheelers are even bigger.
Trains weight 10,000-tons, yo!
7) those who complain about thier country: I can get having some complaints every once in awhile, but when all you do is ***** and ***** and *****, and say "We need to be more like country X", then I say "Well, if you like it so much, go there." Then again, I am extremely patriotic, so maybe thats why.
But the one thing, that I hate more than all the others above combined, is:
8) HIPPIES!!!: The reason being that they take the worst of the above and put it into one form. Most are pacifist, most are against the military and police, "free love" is the cornerstone of hippie ideology, drug use is rampant, and many are commies.
Most of these others, I dont act on. You may get some foul words from me, but barring doing anything to try and take my girlfriend away from me I am only violent in self-defense. But for hippies.....I find the idea of smashing them in the face with a rifle butt to be appealing. If I was alive and old enough in the 60's and 70's, I would have joined the police just to throw them in handcuffs. I was cheering for the cop who disrupted the rally in Forrest Gump. Its not normal for me to have such violent thoughts, and it transfered over to OWS when they tried to compare themselves to the counter-culture (and became worse after they tried to say they were like the civil rights movement, which is a fricking disgrace to the civil rights movement). Help ;_;......
That's the view of the Internet in general. Many people will cry "Mary Sue!" the second a character has one good character trait.
Oh, and here's one of mine: I assume that amateur writers are pretentious and horrible at their writing, but still thinks they're good because their friends and family don't have the heart to give them honest criticism.
It's not much of a stereotype, it's just every Mormon I have ever worked with was completely willing to just sit back and let me do there job for them. Then they talk about how good they are at there job.
