1.Mass Effect 2 - Around 100 hours doing my 4th playthrough now on Insane difficulty.
2.Mass Effect 3- Around 60 hours did 2 playthroughs of that as well.
3.Batman Arkham City- Around 40 hours. Got every single trophy on PS£ as well as played the New Game Plus mode and did every challenge.
4.Oblivion. Around 100 hours. Oblivion was the game that introduced me to free roam RPG and that's why I will always love it. Somehow I feel like it was better than Skyrim. Skyrim might have the fancy graphics and kill moves but in Oblivion there is always something new to discover and I absolutely love the Shivering Islands DlC.
5.Assassin's Creed Revelations. Around 20 hours. Something about the multiplayer is just so addictive that it won't let me stop playing.

(Only because I got no new game at the moment but I am waiting for GW2 or Tranformers: Fall of Cybertron).
You're going to be waiting a long time. Fall of Cybertron isn't out for two months and Guild Wars 2 doesn't have a release date still.

OT: Hm...

Diablo III
Mass Effect Series (Replayed all of them a few times since 3 was released.)
Metal Gear Solid HD Collection
Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning
World of Warcraft

1. Team Fortress 2. I don't know how many hours, and I don't want to know. It's a lot.
2. Mass Effect 3. Two playthroughs (though I quit before the final ten minutes the second time around) and a good bit of the multiplayer (though I'm pretty sure I'm done with that now).
3. Persona 3 FES. Picked it up when it was released on the PSN. I'm still not done with it (got a little frustrated when the Emperor and Empress defeated me and cost me a good bit of progress in the game). I am loving it overall.
4. Civilization IV + Warlords + Beyond the Sword: I hadn't played it in a while, so it's like old things are new again. I still kind of suck, though.
5. Phoenix Wright, Ace Attorney: First time playing the game. Very entertaining.

This year? This year's been terrible for games! Uh, nonetheless:

Mass Effect 3 (mostly multiplayer)
Skyrim

uhhh...wow, I think those are the only ones I put any significant time in. Hmm...three more...

Diablo 3 (Which I did not enjoy...but I figured I paid for the collector's edition, so I'd might as well finish one playthrough)
Blazblue: Continuum Shift. (Not actually sure if that was this year, but close enough)
Probably Katawa Shoujo?

That's really the bulk of my gaming this year? Wow, that's depressing...

And that's less depressing. Fantastic game! If it were backwards compatible on the 360 past the second level, I would jump at the chance to play through it again.

EDIT:

Huh, didn't expect that to pop up elsewhere.

Hmmm... haven't really played that much this year, but... in no real order:

Assassin's Creed: Revelations - better than Brotherhood IMO, but I re-installed ACII recently which reminded me why that's the best game in the series so far.

Rome: Total War - or more specifically, the RTRVII mod. I've got mixed feelings about it, preferring RTR1.9 more, and starting with the Spartan campaign wasn't a good idea (too easy).

Napoleon: Total War - or more specifically, the Peninsular Campaign expansion. Pretty dinky game though the allied AI is infuriating. Thankfully, I don't have that problem in the Grand Campaign.

Deus Ex - after my copy of Human Revolution completely fucked up I went to replay the first game to cheer myself up. Time not wasted (terrible AI and graphics included)...

SW:tOR - I was a bit wary of this at first, but I got into it, even if I've played relatively little of it...

1.Skyrim. Well over 300 hours in total across multiple characters. ( I still can't find that last damn Deadric Artifact for achievement!)
2.Dragon Age: Origins. Just reinstalled and am playing for the first time in a couple years. Already at around 20-25 hours.
3.Mass Effect 3. 2 playthroughs at around 33 hours each.
4.Minecraft (Xbox360). Sheesh I don't want to know how much I've played in the past month alone. Remarkably, I have not finished a single project in all this time. Well maybe its because all I do is play 4v4 War games with my friends to see which team can build the fastest/best and then destroy the other. It's too much fun.
5.Total War: Shogun 2. Around 40 hours of co-op multiplayer with steam friends.

1.Shin Megami Tensie:Nocturne - easily the longest with almost 100 hours into it, grew to love it even though I had a rough start.
2.Pheonix Wright:Ace Attorney - This game is in second place mostly because I got stuck at a few points, one game that I will remember for quite some time, its that good.
3.Ghost Trick - Never got stuck here but the game was still long enough to get this spot, easily one of the best games I ever played.
4.Super Mario Galaxy 2 - If we are talking about whole time spent this would be a lot higher up but because I only went to get extra stars this year its this low on the list, this game is pure fun.
5.Shin Megami Tensie:Devil Survivor 2 - didn't get far ahead but I payed it long enough to give it this spot, pretty good.

Fate/Stay Night, Mass Effect 3, Skyrim, Deus Ex: Human Revolution, and Saints Row the Third I think.

1. Mount and Blade: Warband: going between multiple mods has devoured a good chunk of my life this year.
2. Skyrim: goes without saying
3. Red Orchestra 2: One of my favorite recent shooters.
4. Diablo 3: Sunk a fair amount of time in, but nowhere near as much as the others.
5 SW:TOR: Had some pretty serious fun with it for a little while, but lack of friends playing it regularly meant i just wasn't invested enough to keep paying a monthly fee. Might go back if it becomes free to play though.

Can't really put them in order, so I'll list them off the top of my head:

1. Tribes Ascend
2. League of Legends
3. Minecraft
4. Diablo 3
5. Kingdom Hearts (1, 2, BBS, Re:CoM, 358/2, I've thrown a lot of time at those games this year)

Hmmm, this is a tough one.

No 1 is probably Dragon Age Origins (Ultimate Edition). Clocked up about 60 hours on that since christmas. I've certainly played it less recently but I'm still surprised I've been playing it for that long, seems like I've only done about 4 or 5 main quests.

No 2 is probably Far Cry 2. I got that sometime last year, and played it a little bit but only really got into it this year, dunno why it took so long to get into, its damn amazing. One of the only FPSs that I actually enjoy playing.

No 3 is probably infamous 2. I got it about 2 weeks ago and have played it practically every day since. Probably nowhere near my most played game but certainly one of my most played this year.

Couldn't really say what the other 2 would be. Maybe Minecraft and Neverwinter Nights 2. I don't play minecraft so much anymore but I did play a bit earlier in the year and when I do play it, it takes over my life for a little while.

Neverwinter nights 2 is the only other game I got this year and I did play it for a long time over the few weeks after I bought it.

EDIT: Forgot that I played my PS2 so much because I brought it to college with me.
Played the fuck out of San Andreas as well as a few others but San Andreas was probably played more than all bar Dragon Age and maybe Far Cry 2

Mass Effect 3(somewhere over 200h)-I've spent a lot of time playing the multiplayer
Super Monday Night Combat(around 140h)-really got into the game for about a month still would play but I moved on to
Civilization 5(around 90h this year)-I started playing again in preparation for the expansion and now I'm playing the expansion and enjoying it as much as I did the first time around
Mass Effect 1 and 2(50-60 hours each)-played through them in preparation for 3 since I had lost my original Shepard to a hard drive failure

Its always hard to get a straight answer to a question like this but seeing as you have a similar length of time with ME2, I was wondering, how long did you spend on the singleplayer of Mass Effect 3? Was it anywhere near half the 200 total you spent?

I'm not sure exactly how long it took me to get through 3's story anymore, but I know it was shockingly less time than it took me for any of my playthoughs of 1 or 2. I'm thinking 3 took 25-30 hours as opposed to the 50-60 my trips through 1 and 2 took. I've only done one pass through ME3 so far and by the time I got through 3 I had basically been playing the ME games for 3 months straight and now I pretty much only do the weekend operations. At least three quarters of my time playing in total is multiplayer.
