1) Diablo 3 - just so much fun. Although i'm not near as hardcore as some people out there. Definitely worth the CE investment.
2) ME3 - regret it all the way, mainly for the last 10 minutes. It gave me the good 30 hours before that though so I don't know how to feel about that one.
3) Skyrim - modded it more time than actually played I think. It's a great game and I'm nowhere near done with it just don't have much time.
4) Dota 2 - beats LoL in all categories. Still a massive multiplayer timesink.
5) BF3 - beats CoD in all categories. Also a massive multiplayer timesink.

1.Skyrim. Well over 300 hours in total across multiple characters. ( I still can't find that last damn Deadric Artifact for achievement!)
2.Dragon Age: Origins. Just reinstalled and am playing for the first time in a couple years. Already at around 20-25 hours.
3.Mass Effect 3. 2 playthroughs at around 33 hours each.
4.Minecraft (Xbox360). Sheesh I don't want to know how much I've played in the past month alone. Remarkably, I have not finished a single project in all this time. Well maybe its because all I do is play 4v4 War games with my friends to see which team can build the fastest/best and then destroy the other. It's too much fun.
5.Total War: Shogun 2. Around 40 hours of co-op multiplayer with steam friends.
I couldn't imagine playing Skyrim for 300 hours, I can't play for 15 minutes without getting bored.
Then you're doing it wrong :p.
In fact, I'm going to go play some right now! Dawnguard ftw.

Mass Effect 3 - Though that doesn't mean I like it, I just played it for a lot.
Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion - Same as above.
Deus Ex: Human Revolution - I liked it, but it wasn't a favorite.
Star Wars: The Old Republic - I liked it for a bit, but it isn't a favorite now, played a lot.
Assassin's Creed (Series) - I replayed through the series to catch up on it for AC3.
(Tied for 5th) StarCraft II - I replayed through it on Brutal due to boredom.

I've played mostly all the other games that people here are loving.. I hated them or saw them for the low-key products they were. Dogma and all that was terrible, as was Skyrim.

That's a tough one for me. I've been playing a LOT of different games.

1. ArmA 2 - The single player campaign is fun to play from different angles, and the editor never ceases to create hours of endless entertainment.

2. Minecraft - No explanation needed. I have yet to get bored with it!

3. Star Trek Online - I have a lot of friends that play it, so it's been occupying a lot of my time. That, and it's free.

4. Shogun 2: Total War - I LOVE THIS GAME! Co-op campaigns are TONS of fun! If I had to guess, I have spent about as much time playing this game as ArmA 2, and if I had to put a number on it, I would say upwards of 60 hours or so.

5. X-Plane 9 - I had been designing airplanes for school. Someone had to be the test pilot. That person was me!

I'm gonna go with the ones that only I play and not the ones both I and my brother play:

1. Resident Evil 4. My all time favorite, and I've beaten it over 40 times.

2. Uncharted 2. Dat multiplayer!

3. Heavy Rain. Must....get....all....endings!

4. Tekken 6. Despite the shaky online, I keep coming back to it.

5. God of War 3. Though it's less to do with playing, and more to do with cutscenes that can't be skipped.

If that's the game's actual title, they must be resorting to throwing letters from a scrabble board in the air and making words at random.

I honestly haven't played much this year, haven't had the time.

1. Mass Effect 3 - 3 playthroughs I think, so probably about 100 hours all up.
2. LoL - For when i'm on the road and i've only got my MBP.
3. Diablo 2 - Was gearing up for D3, still haven't got it though.
4. Tropico 4 - Took my time playing through the campaign, had a lot of fun, haven't gone back to it though.
5. Skyrim - Been going back to this off and on, mainly when I see a new mod that catches my eye.

1. Mass Effect 3: I poured hours into that game, mostly because I'm a fanboy of sorts and also because as with the last two I just get sucked right into the universe and I can't get out. still haven't.

2. Skyrim: Even though I got bored of it after a while the 30 or so hours I put into it was a barrel of fun.

3. Morden Warfare 3: Yes I play COD, get over it. I always have fun online, seeing I never have my mic on unless I'm with friends so I probably have a better time than most people, but I poured some solid hours into it.

4. Heroes of Might and Magic 2: Yes it is a very old game but I went of a retro spree at one stage and it was my favourite of all the old school games I played. Classic turned based action.

5. Mass Effect 2: Mainly to get my two main characters (who I had deleted or had done on another console) back up and running in order to have files to bering across when I got three. But of course even when I got three Ii kept playing 2 as well, because of the reasons I pointed out above.

1. Dark Souls - I meanwhile run around with a lightbulb Maggot on my head, sporting a seven-foot cursed sword and wearing little more than pajamas, because armour is for pussies and lagstabbers. Playing through Dark Souls meanwhile feels like finishing Donkey Kong, over and over again, streamlining the experience and striving for efficiency and perfection. Some aspects of online multiplayer are completely borked, but it's the best game experience I've had (and am still having) in a long time.

2. Journey - on infinite loop, one session at a time. Why? Because it's easily the most kosher Zen experience at the moment.

3. Flower - because.

4. Battleforge - because online chess sucks and one session is max <30 minutes.

5. Warcraft III - because online chess sucks and one session... uh, lasts from 5 minutes to an hour. I know.

There's plenty more games played, but these are the ones that currently get the most love and attention.
