Well, as long as he TALKS LIKE THIS, he's a pretty cool guy.
Oh, wait, we're not talking anthropomorphic personifications here are we?
Was that an Irregular Webcomic reference? If so, woohoo, I've finally found another reader
I have no idea what you're on about, sorry. I hope you've heard of a writer by the name of Terry Pratchett?

Ah, right, no problem. All the Death characters in a webcomic called Irregular Webcomic have their speech in CAPS, and I thought that might be a reference to it.

I know of Terry Pratchett, I read a couple of the Discworlds but never really got into the series.

I'm ready for death, I don't care if I died right now. If you worry about it, it will come sooner. Just live life and not think about it.
So... you're saying if you live carefully, and take necessary measures to increase your chances of survival, (i.e. NOT base jumping or shark wrestling) you're going to die sooner? Interesting theory... although I don't understand it...
A lot of people stress over death and the "end", and stress leads to high blood pressure and other issues. If you don't stress over it, you will live happy. I follow the f' it way of life.

You know, it IS possible to have concern for things without blowing a proverbial gasket over them. There's nothing wrong with being worried about death, it's natural to feel like that. It also shows that you value your life.

There's a difference between worrying about something that will inevitably happen, and worrying to the point where you are being hindered by it. You don't need to practice the "f*ck it, shit happens" way of life to be able to avoid heart attacks... you just need to be able to accept reality for what it is, and understand that it happens to everybody, and that having concerns about it is completely natural. (And that, yes, it is totally okay to feel those concerns.)

I would like a more filosophical view: when you worry about it all the time, you're thinking about it all the time, and how it could get you at any point. When you see it on the road that is your life, you are acting and thinking about it allready being close, even if it's only a speck at the horizon.

However, when you go about your business, you won't notice it until it reaches you, making you feel as if you've had a lot longer to live.

Death. Inevitable and permanent. Life's final cure to the scourge that is old people.

Maybe one day, after we conquor aging, we'll conquor death, then we'll all be immortal youths, free to indulge in hedonistic pleasures for eternity. Or just go find some stinking aliens and war them into extinction.
^That^

Terry Practchetts death is awesome as half the time he is trying to live, hence hilirous consequences.
The way he portrays the four riders of the apocalyspe is just genius.

I believe in death if you are a good person in lifeyou are sent to paradise and will be reunited with all your decesed relatives but if you were evil and greedy you will burn in the fires of hell.

Death is peaceful. If you believe in an afterlife/eternity, then there is heaven, the greatest party in the world, or hell, the most painful rape in the world. If you do not, then after you die, its just emptiness, which is pretty cool, because you will have no worries anymore. But yes, death is constant and unavoidable.

death is necessary due to the ever decreasing amount of capacity of this planet and on the other hand think about it would u want an immortal jack Thomson or Michal ascension the whole reason there are anti videogame activists is the generational divide so to let them all pass into memory is a good thing while it will be a bad one but to summarise death is an unavoidable accordance we all must face at some point some can cope thinking about an afterlife ether through fear or grief while some tend to ignore the concept others except it ?to constantly worry about death you ultimately for-fit life?

There are 3 people involved in death:

For the person who dies, it is a release from all the comitments, stress, duties, obligations... of life. So, provided you have no regrets, it's kind of a peaceful event.

For the people close to the person who died, it is a terrible tragedy. Because you just had your loved one die on you.

For the people who knows the person who died are, but not known him/her personally, it is a nuisance. Because there might be financial problems, social events they have to go to, and so on.
