or maybe when death comes, you are reborn into a different dimention, not knowing who you were before

or, maybe you are dead now, but you are just repeating everything

i like to not think about this kind of stuff, because i kindof ruins life itself

Ha, says the guy with the screen name of RE-UNdead.

But honestly, I don't find that it ruins life. I never understood that. I used to ruminate on all of these questions to my ex girlfriend, and she would simply find it depressing. Can it be a scary thought? Yes, can it also be extremely exciting? Yes. And I'd rather not 'just not think about it' till the time came when it was right around the corner. I mean, I doubt anyone can ever be truely prepared for their own deaths, but for me excepting it in all of it's horror/glory is important. Hasn't ruined my life.

It's not that life is too short, it's that death is too long

Death is a natural part of every lifeform's existence, an unavoidable circumstance (unless you're a hydra). If there is any justice in the world death will be like REM sleep, peaceful and without dreams. People need to stop fighting death so much, we all die, who are we to decide when it's our time?
Death without pain is like a cake without icing

I'm ready for death, I don't care if I died right now. If you worry about it, it will come sooner. Just live life and not think about it.
So... you're saying if you live carefully, and take necessary measures to increase your chances of survival, (i.e. NOT base jumping or shark wrestling) you're going to die sooner? Interesting theory... although I don't understand it...
A lot of people stress over death and the "end", and stress leads to high blood pressure and other issues. If you don't stress over it, you will live happy. I follow the f' it way of life.
You know, it IS possible to have concern for things without blowing a proverbial gasket over them. There's nothing wrong with being worried about death, it's natural to feel like that. It also shows that you value your life.

There's a difference between worrying about something that will inevitably happen, and worrying to the point where you are being hindered by it. You don't need to practice the "f*ck it, shit happens" way of life to be able to avoid heart attacks... you just need to be able to accept reality for what it is, and understand that it happens to everybody, and that having concerns about it is completely natural. (And that, yes, it is totally okay to feel those concerns.)
Your right and I do accept reality for what it is, everyone dies. It's as simple as that, everyone is born and everyone dies and I'm not gonna fight that fact. And I don't have to worry about it to show value for life, showing value is using it. If I show concern for a game I don't value it, If I play it I value it.

By being given life, we are killed. Yippee. Oh well, better get on with snorting cocaine off of hookers, I've gotta make the most of my time here.

It scares me more than anything. The uncertainty and inevitability... I can't stand it.

On the bright side at least I'll never want to commit suicide because that would result in death.... which is my worst fear. That's what I call a silver lining :S

Death is kind of tiring. On the other hand, it's relaxing, like a bath in painfully hot water, but a bath nontheless.

Overall, I wouldn't recommend it.

Death keeps things interesting, and it keeps things equal. Doesn't matter if you're a pawn or a king, in the end, we all go into the same box.

Well if we die, we die, HEY! If billions of people have done it before, it can't be that bad.

If we can live forever, I may or may not want to. However if immortality becomes probable, then we would have to stop the birth cycle of our species.
