What are your views on death?

I have had this believe for a while, but i am finally deciding to share it. You see, all human beings begin to die, from the very moment we are born, life is just part of the process. Death does is not something somone avoids because it is always with us, it is the debt that all men pay. Everything that lives must die, thats the natural cycle of life.

If there is any justice in the world death will be like REM sleep, peaceful and without dreams. People need to stop fighting death so much, we all die, who are we to decide when it's our time?

I believe that the concept of living for eterity is an attractive one, but i do not believe it is something i would want to do alone. I find it easier to die alone, than be alone watching as your friends die. Plus fighting an alien species to extinction is kinda neat, but it would have to be the Protoss AND the Zerg we fight.

Death isn't really bad, it is necessary, eternal life would be boring, but maybe if people lived longer people wouldn't be such colossal morons, and then we would face over population because the death rate would be zero, but the birth rate wouldn't change,
Kurt Vonnegut wrote a short story about a world without aging, i think it was called Anti-Geserone or something like that

It's natural to be uneasy about death (after all, it's connected with great pain and uncertainty) but we shoudl probably look on the bright side, at least the person in question is at peace once they die.

I believe that the concept of living for eterity is an attractive one, but i do not believe it is something i would want to do alone. Eternal life would be savage, because then people would actually choose when to die (and I imagine many people WILL want to die after living for so long) and the concept of suicide booths/kits/companies would be pretty disturbing.

Death is necessary for the prevention of overpopulation. That's the way I see it. Bring on the afterlife, which basically makes me look like a hypocrite after what I said above.

(actually saying that, I believe reincarnation would be more ideal than eternal life, but I guess retaining your memories of your past life would again be like eternal life, and I am waffling/hungry)

Balls to them, I'm planning on wiping the Eldar off the face of the Galaxy. That'll teach them for creating Slaanesh. Then we'll have to gear up to fight off a Tyranid Hive fleet.

I don't really think much about death. I did once, but eventually, I came to the conclusion that there is no point; when you die, it is my belief that is it. No afterlife, no nothing. So once you're dead, you will have no regrets, no suffering, no loneliness, no nothing. What's to fear? That you didn't get to do everything you wanted? Once you're dead, you won't care on account of you not being able to care at all. So it's really not that bad, from a egoistic perspective.

I find death annoying. It forces us to rush through our lives, making countless mistakes, and ending up with a lot of regrets. One of my greatest fantasies is to live for as long as I want, before dying on my own terms (after I've done everything I want to), preferably in whatever catastrophe causes/is the result of the death of the universe as a whole.

I try to not think about death too much (why am I here then? I hear you ask). But I start thinking about death whenever I go to London or go down stairs...
