What Attracted you to The Escapist?

i was attracted to the escapist by yahtzee, but what attracted you? forums? yahtzee? the other videos?

i was on the escapist for like months before i even knew about the forums...

My brother-in-law directed me to the escapist. First off to watch unforgotten realms and ZP. I quickly tired of Unforgotten Realms, but then I moved onto things like, Doomsday Arcade, ENN and unskippable.

I'd visited it a few times, checked up on news, but what dragged me in was when fellow Newgrounder Schmoopy joined the Escapist. That made me visit at least once a week, followed by discovering other series and a few interesting threads that were enough to make me a member.

I'm on the Escapist plenty, and still barely use the forums

Hmmn, first saw Yahtzee on yt, looked up other episodes, came across the Escapist, watched Unskippable, saw interesting topics on the forum, made an account and began replying to various threads. Over 600 posts later, the Escapist owns my soul.

Noah Antwiler of the Spoon Experiment said that Yahtzee did like him and so I went to see who this Yahtzee guy was. Then I started to watch other series and lurked in the forums and quite lately I registered.

Honestly I'm going to have to say it was when a friend of my sister's showed me Zero Punctuation, that made me interested in the Escapist and eventually I went to the forums. Recently my sister's friend got married and I attended the wedding in thanks to her for introducing me to this place.

A friend sent me a link to a ZP episode. I came back a few times to watch it before finding the forums, which I joined during a patch in which absolutely nothing was happening. The forums are why I keep coming back (well, that and Unskippable and ZP)...
