I happened to see Unforgotten Realms a long time ago, but I didn't have broadband at the time and it took too long to load on my computer. I then forgot about it for at least a year.

I remembered it later for no real reason, I googled it, and it came up with the escapist.

For me, it was unforgotten realms.

I saw Rob's original videos on Newgrounds, then he stopped making them there, so I went to his site, saw his videos were being posted on the escapist, and started watching them there.

It wasn't for weeks until I saw that there were other video links, and even more weeks till I saw that there were forums.

A friend showed me some ZP. It was funny but I wasn't all that interested in following it at first. Later I came back and watched more ZP and other videos like Unskippable or Escape to the Movies and found the site consistently entertaining and informative so I joined.

zero punctuation was mentioned by movie bob in one of his outside escapist videos and after I saw most of those videos I decided to explore the rest of the site, saw new videos, saw the forums, signed up and here I am now.
