Originally it was, of course, ZP that was reccomended by a friend. When I started watching ZP, I was attracted to Unskippable and Rebecca Mayes Musings.
I came for ZP and stayed for the ambiance. The site offers plenty of interesting angles on gaming and holds a community of people with very similar interests. I like it here!
I did take me well over a year before signing up (I'm a bit fed up with all these sites that require you yet again to sign up - where's that on-line ID I keep hearing about, when is it going to be a reality?)
I started coming here after I saw Pure Pwnage do a parody of Zero Punctuation on that one episode... So I came to this website and watched all of his videos. During this time, I noticed the little forum topics in the sidebar and they were very interesting. I finally couldn't resist and signed up for the forums and started watching all the videos and reading the articles and posting on the forums.
EDIT: Ok the first Zero Punctuation episode I saw was Mercenaries 2.
I came for Zero Punctuation, but i stayed for the forums. It's for a nice change to have people who actually think before they write, allowing for real discussions instead of childish fanboy behaviour.
Zero Punctuation got me on here, I saw he Scribblenaughts review linked on a different forum and was hooked. Kept noticing the forum ads in the corner, finally broke down and came over.
Two things. Zero Punctuation and MMORPG.com off-topic forums are dying/dead. I have wandered the internet for 13 years in search of a stable message board. lol. They always die off.
