The only thing that's an absolute prerequisite is personality, so I have to go with that. The first things I notice are the eyes, the rest of the face and personality, and when it comes to purely physical attraction I tend to focus on thighs, hip and abdomen. But if she doesn't have a personality I like, any and all attraction does fade pretty quickly.
Some one will have said this by now, but while a great personality (I'm actually not lying about that one, I've met some girls I can't stand to be around who are the picture of realistic physical hotness) and a good body are undeniable factors, at this point I rate the ability to put up with an anti-social/shy-to-the-point-of-seeming-bipolar-but-I've-totally-tested-negative-for-that-so-I'm-just-weird guy like myself really, really far up on the list. Aside from that, reading this thread seems to reveal that my tastes are saddeningly generic, so I'll stop there. (And don't even try to deny the personality thing, we've all met that one girl or guy that we would go out with in a second if they weren't such a horrible person to be around.)
You see, they have these lumps on their chest. And I don't know why, but I like them. Particularly larger ones. Also, they're different, and hard to figure out. And since someone lost the instruction manual, trying to figure out how they work is a game in of its own right.
3 things about the female form spring to mind. In no particular order...
[ul][li]Wide hips: This is a basic thing, bred into all men by evolution: since sex is first and foremost (at least in the physical sense) a way to extend the life of the species, a straight man will look for traits that allow the bearing of a child. Since anyone I'm gonna have sex with will be someone I love (and thus someone I do not wish to see in pain), I'd like her labor to be short and relatively painless.[/li]
[li]Mid-size breasts: Yeah, I'm aware that a lot of guys prefer larger breasts, but it's just not my thing. Any bigger than a B-cup and it's just extra weight. Can't cup 'em appropriately and the actual milk-producing glands (Y'know, the purpose of a breast) are tiny, small enough that, technically, guys have them too. They're just dormant.[/li]
[li]Height: Short chicks attract me, though moreso in the psychological sense than the physical. I don't know why. Maybe it's a product of my protective instinct or something.[/li][/ul]
Also, a comment on the anore...er...thin concept of beauty, in the form of a strip comic. Please follow the link, I'm not gonna push my moderator luck today, and the pic has some mild female nudity. >.>
A Historical Dialectic About Standards of Beauty [http://comixed.com/2010/01/23/a-historical-dialectic/]
Well call me a creep but...........well............they smell nice.
I haven't met a single dude who could possibly get anywhere near as good at smelling as what a bad smelling female apparently smells like.
I mean I don't go around sniffing people that would be just weird.
But I can deficiently tell females almost always smell really nice.
It's a nice change from the either shaving cream smelling Deodorant or the B.O.
I don't really have any particular preferences about the look of a girl. If I can have a half decent one-on-one conversation with them, then that's the bench mark. After that, curvy figures are nice, good proportions. I am quite a fan of the occasional bottom, boobs, face, etc. But personality is preferable over anything superficial.
That's not to say I'd deliberately go for an ugly girl, but honestly it's been so long since I encountered a girl that can actually be considered ugly that I don't really know what one looks like anymore.
There are three things I look at when I see a person for the first time.
1: Eyes
2: Lips
3: Ass
Expressive eyes are so incredibly beautiful I go crazy when I see someone with eyes like that. Like my best friend. He has eyes that were given to him from god himself.
Really. The world needs to know how the worlds most beautiful eyes look like. I'll post a picture of him or something
Something I really like in a woman is their voice. Raspy voices are to prefer (Like Julie Benz).
I never thought the same about men, till I heard Kaidan speak on Mass Effect. Gah <3
*snip*skinny
Red, straight hair *snip
A nice smile
Able to communicate frequently without overreacting about something
*silent*
Makes me laugh
Trustful.
Physically I like big tall guys who are more traditionally masculine.
Mentally I like... this is hard to explain... someone who does the right thing. He doesn't have to be a perfect angel but so many people are so mean and hateful. Brave. Smart is nice but rather someone a little less intelligent with a good heart then brilliant guy with a so-so attitude.
