Um...

The Barenaked Ladies
Eric Clapton
Jeff Beck
Gorillaz
The Trews
Smashing Pumpkins

And I guess Protest the Hero, although it was just awful.
Were they bad or do you just not like them? I love Kezia and Fortress, and I enjoy scurrilous, so I want some clarification here.

Also, I tend to avoid seeing live bands.
Not on purpose, mostly. Usually I can't afford the tickets, or I can't get any of my friends to come with me.

I like a lot of metal too, but I can't stand metalheads. Not that I can't stand people who listen to metal, but the long greasy-haired, constant black band shirt kind just annoy me and smell bad (usually). It's kept me from seeing some bands like Converge and Deftones.

A friend took me to see green day. Yawn. There's nothing worse then watching 3 40 somethings jump on stage singing about anarchy and being young. Besides that though, I've never been to another show.

Hoping I can get the money to see Minus the Bear, Thrice with La Dispute later next month.

I saw the dead. Uh, aside from a few small things, teen open mike, jazz fests. I haven't really seen all that much.

I've seen a few in my time:

Black Label Society
Black Sabbath (w/ Ozzy)
Cradle of Filth
Creed
Dimmu Borgir
Dir en Grey
Disturbed
Drowning Pool
Eminem
Godsmack
Iron Maiden
Judas Priest
Korn
Lamb of God
Limp Bizkit
Linkin Park
Marilyn Manson
Metallica
Ozzy Osbourne (with Zack Wilde)
P.O.D.
Reel Big Fish
Rob Zombie
Slayer
Slipknot

I think there may be more...I remember going to Warped Tour last year but I wasn't paying attention to the bands so that probably doesn't count. I also remember there being a ton of rappers at The Eminem Show (I think that's what it was actually; Eminem Show Tour)

A combination. The music was terrible - no sense of balance between instruments and vocals, so you couldn't even hear any subtlety (if there was indeed any to hear) as they played. The show was short, they did nothing to engage their audience, and in fact seemed intent on alienating them, and it was pretty clear they were drunk off their asses. In fact, the lead singer had literally pissed all over himself before coming on stage (and spent the first five minutes of his stage presence bragging about his urine-soaked pants.)
Plus, I just don't like that style of music, but my friends wanted to go. They tried to stay chipper and say it was a good show, but it was pretty obvious even they were disappointed in it.

Drowning Pool with the original singer,
Seen them two weeks before he died.
They were from Fort Worth (where I live) so it was a big drag when that happened. My friend worked at a local radio station and had gotten to know the band pretty well.

I take some comfort in knowing that he at least got to live his dream for a little while. That is more than a lot of us get. So while it's a tragedy, at there is that.

We saw them not too long after they hit big. They were a pretty good live band. Such a shame what happened.

Let's see, I will try to remember them all because I saw a good amount at Lollapalooza this year. Every band I can remember seeing (Opening acts are also hard to remember):
Dragonforce
Cage The Elephant
Muse
Metric
Two Door Cinema Club
Fitz & The Tantrums
Foster the People
Manchester Orchestra
Noah & The Whale
Flogging Molly
Foo Fighters
My Morning Jacket
The Vaccines
Artic Monkeys
Walk The Moon
Beatalica (An opening act. So cheesy it's hard to forget)
The Drums
The Naked and Famous
White Lies
A Perfect Circle
Crystal Castles
Death From Above 1979
Cee Lo (Fairly disappoint at Lolla)
Beats Antique
Rival Schools
Explosions in the Sky

That is all I can remember for now. I feel like I am missing some however, not sure...

Edit: I just remembered some more:
Disturbed
Avenged Sevenfold
Stone Sour
Halestorm
Bullet for My Valentine
Five Finger Death Punch
Coheed and Cambria (I am ashamed for forgetting this one)

I used to go to see live music a lot quite a while ago, not so much these days. But back in my day probably the bigger acts I saw were -
- AC/DC
- Ben Harper
- Brad
- Coldplay
- Faith No More
- Garbage
- Guns 'n' Roses
- Metallica
- Nirvana
- Nine Inch Nails
- New Pornographers (saw them recently)
- Okkervil River (saw them recently)
- Powderfinger
- Pearl Jam
- Pink Floyd (my first concert)
- Smashing Pumpkins
- Shihad
- Tool
- You am I
- The Who

These days probably the only bands I'd pay to go out and see live, but they never come anywhere near my country, are -
- Antony and the Johnsons
- The Antlers
- Arcade Fire
- Nicole Atkins

Every time I travel overseas I check concert listings to see if I can catch them.

You've seen Sunn O))), Tool, and Neurosis? I fucking hate you.

I don't go to a lot of live shows. But, the ones I have gone to:
Train (many many years back, when they realeased their album For Me It's You); Needtobreathe opened.

Jonsi (last October). Mountain Man opened.

This Will Destroy You (this June; fucking RULED). Equals and John LaMonica opened, and it was awesome in so many ways.

Not many. Metalhead as I am, I'm not a concert person.
Judas Priest
Megadeth
Testament
Children of Bodom
Trivium(I was intrested in Annihilator. Same concert)
Annihilator
Sanctity
Europe
Hellfueled

... I think that's all.

I've only been to see Iron Maiden and AC/DC. Including their support bands Airbourne for Iron Maiden (who I thought were pretty good) and the Subways (who I thought were pretty rubbishy), that's only four.
