Elder Scrolls V, if we're lucky.

Fallout Online? Ehh...I don't really see it. Could be cool, if handled right. Morrowindish, in a way.
Well remember that Fallout 3 is good but it has that stupid movment style of oblivion so without vats it would be a very bad game. And having vats in what might be an MMO would just not work. So if there is no vats the game will have shit combat and if the game has a million people running around the waste land won't have the same effect of making it feel like the waste land.

Hmmm.....
I can honestly say that TES is one series I DON'T want MMO-ized.
I really like how it is, mabye a small scale multiplayer, like 1 or 2 extra friends, but please, do not MMO-ize it.

First off, it is too damn large. Too much map, too much of it is based on time(-ing), and too much based on the one hero thing.

It would work easily as a game for two-four people, but not as a MMO. Plus th elevel up system....Yea.....

Last time I checked the fallout wiki, they said FOOL(Fallout online), also known as project V13, was going to be based on fallout 1. There's also a fan-made Russian FO MMO in the making.

2010. Well if Interplay's quarterly report doesn't show 30 million then Bethesda gets to do the MMO for Fallout 3, and they will have two more years at least to do it. Right now Bethesda is working on some expansions for Fallout, (other than the DLC), and working on the finishing touches to TESV, but whether Bethesda does it or Interplay, there will be a Fallout MMO in about 2 years.

You'll get your choice to be a super mutant or a raider or wastelander, then the factions (or races) would probably be the enemies of eachother maybe. I wonder if you are a super mutant if you run into one of the game's super mutant NPC's if it would be friendly or not?

I would like that better anyway. WOW gets over-run sometimes.

Make Fallout 4! Fallout 3 was to short and I want more real games, not this DLC bullshit.
They are making expansions for Fallout 3 (like they did for Oblivion) I think.

Getting an all-star team of talent together doesn't necessarily mean the final product will even be worth playing. Spore had an all-star dev team and look what that got them. A shallow, dull experience that was barely worth pirating, never mind putting SecuROM EA-style on your computer for.
Now there is a discussion in itself! (the SecuROM).
One that was done to death on here last September. You couldn't swing a dead cat in here without hitting someone decrying DRM.
Who swings a dead cat?

If it does end up being a Fallout MMO, I'd be in heaven! I've been completely engrossed in Fallout 3 and think it would be ideal for a translation to a MMO!

I've been addicted to it since the first time I played it too. I must have played it for days straight just exploring before I ever started any quests.

Fallout online would be epic for 2 reasons:

1. Its Fallout.... online!

2.

Meh. I'd prefer a new IP if Bethesda is making an MMO. The Fallout universe is okay, but I didn't like the rather small selection of weapons available in F3 (although the custom ones were awesome, Railway Rifle ftw). TES has always been about the "One Hero" and I just don't see it working very well as an MMO, especially with the threat from Oblivion recently vanquished. An Akaviri invasion or something could work, what with the Nerevarine having gone there and all, pick a faction and stuff, though Akavir has long been a continent at war with itself, unlike Tamriel. But I'd still prefer a new, solid singleplayer TES.

All of my personal opinion doesn't mean I won't buy anything they produce anyway, though.

starting to get bored of fallout 3, done main story twice. on second char done almost all side missions. but its very much like said by yahtzee, once you get shit loads of ammo and money the game loses any challenge and you get bored. same thing happened in oblivion, open world RPGs are awesome but sometimes feel like they need to be online to me. they don't have the same kind engaging story like kotor which drags you all the way to the end. Oblivion/fallout 3 two of my favourite games but they kind of feel like a offline mmorpg in terms of endgame there is no group content or pvp. even with single player shooters once you complete the story there is usually online play to keep you happy.

fallout mmo could be awesome, but graphics would prolly get toned done along with zone size and combat etc. and Bethesda can't balance for shit, not sure they could run a online game. theres also rumors of a elder scrolls online which i think would be better, magic+mele+bows. fallout 3's mele is half arsed its just guns guns guns, point and shoot.
