The Iliad, although I just ordered Metro 2033 from Barns and Noble so I will proably drop it in the near future, but in the mean time I am enjoying seeing Aprodite getting her hand cut off, and the amount of spear head shots in this book is crazy.

Nemesis of the Horus Heresy series.
Oh I finished that awhile back, what do you think of it so far? :D

Right now I'm halfway through the "Eisenhorn Omnibus" myself and it's awesome.
I am currently 30 pages through, and it has yet to pick up. This is acceptable.

Ermm... Love in the Time of Cholera, Dynamic Nuclear Orientation, and Lie Groups: An Introduction Through Linear Groups.

Take a guess at which ones are for work and which one is for pleasure.
Love in the Time of Cholera, you're obviously a Spanish Literature professor who reads physics and math textbooks in their spare time. For some reason that actually makes a bit of fridge logic for a bit. Of course people who have to read literature for work read textbooks for fun. Doi.

Nothing right now. The last two things I did read were The Killing Joke which was good, and Anthem by Ayn Rand, which was mediocre at best. I need to start reading Perks of Being a Wallflower.

The Path of Daggers in my re-reading of Jordan's Wheel of Time.
Hey! I'm reading Lord Of Chaos in my re-reading of The Wheel Of Time! By far my favorite book series.

I'm reading Lord of Chaos, the sixth book in Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series. I've loved the series so far, but I've heard that this is where the books become a bit of a drag. I'm only a few chapters in, so I have yet to see for myself, but regardless I will keep reading because the series is so damn good!
Don't listen to those people! Some of the coolest things in the series are yet to come. Things that will blow you away.
Listen to the man! Although I will admit in the middle of the series there is WAY too much faffing about. I usually like political intrigue but I found a lot of it less than intriguing. I've kept with the series and I'm currently reading the most recent of the Wheel of Time Series: Towers of Midnight. I'm a chapter in but I liked what the new author did with the last book and thus far it seems like more of the same. My only problem is that there is SO MUCH going on and I read some of the books so long ago (started in 2006)that it's hard to keep track of who's who and who's doing what. The first chapter of this book in from the perspective of a very minor character from the very first book who existed in the story for maybe a page or two before being completely forgotten until now. But I'd still say Wheel of Time is a worthwhile read.

Ethan Frome by Edith Wharton for AP English. It's a decent book, but there are so many times that I see myself reflected in Ethan, that it can be unsettling.

At least it wasn't something extremely long like The Grapes of Wrath. Or else I probably wouldn't be on here because we have a test first day back from break. Which is Monday.

I'm reading Bram Stoker's Dracula at the moment. It was free on the Kindle store so I thought 'why not' and it is actually rather good.
I got bored with it...will pick it up again but I can't read it for long periods of time

OT: "John Dies at the End" by David Wong. Funny as hell and really interesting!

A History of God: The 4,000-Year Quest of Judaism, Christianity and Islam by Karen Armstrong. It's not the newest, but then again neither are its subjects. ;) The author is very knowledgeable and presents viewpoints I have not encountered but find interesting.

Proven Guilty, book 8 of the Dresden Files, and Titus Groan.

I've put the latter on hold over winter break. Before those two I finished Things Fall Apart, which I enjoyed, surprisingly. I was ready to slog through it, seeing how it was assigned in English, but once I started I didn't want to stop.

My friend got me into the Night Angel Trilogy by Brent Weeks.

Right now I'm about halfway through book 2, Shadow's Edge, and I must say, it is AWESOME.

I have to read The Procedure by Harrie Mulisch for literature class, so I'm sort of reading that. The novel I'm actually trying to read, and I only just got, is Mogworld, which we all know.
Probably.
