I am currently 30 pages through, and it has yet to pick up. This is acceptable.dalek sec said:Oh I finished that awhile back, what do you think of it so far?Xpwn3ntial said:Nemesis of the Horus Heresy series.
Right now I'm halfway through the "Eisenhorn Omnibus" myself and it's awesome.
Love in the Time of Cholera, you're obviously a Spanish Literature professor who reads physics and math textbooks in their spare time. For some reason that actually makes a bit of fridge logic for a bit. Of course people who have to read literature for work read textbooks for fun. Doi.Lukeje said:Ermm... Take a guess at which ones are for work and which one is for pleasure.
Listen to the man! Although I will admit in the middle of the series there is WAY too much faffing about. I usually like political intrigue but I found a lot of it less than intriguing. I've kept with the series and I'm currently reading the most recent of the Wheel of Time Series: Towers of Midnight. I'm a chapter in but I liked what the new author did with the last book and thus far it seems like more of the same. My only problem is that there is SO MUCH going on and I read some of the books so long ago (started in 2006)that it's hard to keep track of who's who and who's doing what. The first chapter of this book in from the perspective of a very minor character from the very first book who existed in the story for maybe a page or two before being completely forgotten until now. But I'd still say Wheel of Time is a worthwhile read.Gaderael said:Hey! I'm reading Lord Of Chaos in my re-reading of The Wheel Of Time! By far my favorite book series.DeadlyYellow said:The Path of Daggers in my re-reading of Jordan's Wheel of Time.
Don't listen to those people! Some of the coolest things in the series are yet to come. Things that will blow you away.theComposer said:I'm reading Lord of Chaos, the sixth book in Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series. I've loved the series so far, but I've heard that this is where the books become a bit of a drag. I'm only a few chapters in, so I have yet to see for myself, but regardless I will keep reading because the series is so damn good!
I got bored with it...will pick it up again but I can't read it for long periods of timeMetaKnight19 said:I'm reading Bram Stoker's Dracula at the moment. It was free on the Kindle store so I thought 'why not' and it is actually rather good.
