Frankie Boyle's autobiography: My Shit Life So Far.

Eh. Could be better. Basically a description of his life, obviously, but with a few jokes from his stand-up shows or Mock The Week thrown in at random intervals.
A bit dull. Still, I hate to leave a book unfinished.

I'm currently reading The Hobbit (almost finished with it, another 50 pages and I'm done). After that I'm gonna finish reading the third book in the Night Angel Trilogy (for those of you who haven't read it, go read it. It's a great series), and also just started reading Rainbow Six (so far I'm enjoying it). btw everybody this is my first post on the forums.

Quite a lot of books, which is not really typical for me.

"More Twisted" by Jeffery Deaver, a collection of his short stories. Pretty good stuff.
"The Scarpetta Factor" by Patricia Cornwell, a novel about Dr. Kay Scarpetta - star forensic analyst of CNN - and her newest case.
"Wer ist Jeffrey Dahmer?" ("Who is Jeffrey Dahmer?"), a German book about the Milwaukee Monster. Hey, don't look at me like that, I'm still a perfectly normal girl despite being interested in that kind of stuff. ^_^
"Grimm's Fairy Tales", sweet childhood memories.
And last but not least, the Bible. Once I finished that one I'd love to read the Qur'an to get a better understanding of the Islam.

EDIT: Oh, almost forgot. I do read loads of creepypasta on the internet, too. I like creepy! :D

Our Band Could Be Your Life by Michael Azerrad. It profiles a bunch of underground (mostly punk) bands from the 80's (Black Flag, Minor Threat, Fugazi, The Minutemen, Sonic Youth, Dinosaur Jr, Mission of Burma, Butthole Surfers, The Replacements, Husker Du, Big Black, Beat Happening, and Mudhoney). It just about required reading for anyone interested in the music, the period, the lifestyle, and the thought process of these people. Mission of Burma, The Minutemen, Sonic Youth, and Minor Threat are especially interesting so far. I hadn't listened to either Burma or the Minutemen before the book and now I love them. Better late than never. It's a great experience to listen to the music as I'm reading about it, it really makes you focus on it all the more.

That's a lot said about one book...
Other than that:
- A Dragon Age book (The Calling). It's not good so far. Moving on...

- Berklee Music Theory. I'm trying to expand my playing style so I figured learning music theory would be a good way to aid in that endeavor.

- Atlas Shrugged. God. I pick this book up and generally find it interesting and then I get busy and put it down for a long time. I'm only about 200 pages in and I started this over the summer. Yeesh. My mid-July to September lifestyle of only MCAT studying in the day and partying at night, then surfing the rest of the time derailed my reading of it big time.

Reading through a Wheel of Time, currently on book 10 I think. Overall pretty good, but they don't seem to get anywhere in these last few books. Sort of feels like Jordan just wants to keep the series going for as long as possible.

I'm reading Lord of Chaos, the sixth book in Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series. I've loved the series so far, but I've heard that this is where the books become a bit of a drag. I'm only a few chapters in, so I have yet to see for myself, but regardless I will keep reading because the series is so damn good!

Well, I haven't read a book(besides for class) lately, but the last I did read was King Harald's Saga, a book on the history of Harald Hardradi, the Scandinavian king who died during the battle for Stamford Bridge.

Planning to read some Tacitus next, since I have this thing for history.

I'm currently reading "A Crown of Swords" by Robert Jordan.

I haven't read a lot of it recently though.
You know, with Christmas and all.
I've been playing the PS3 that we got for Christmas.

Don't listen to those people! Some of the coolest things in the series are yet to come. Things that will blow you away.

I'm just finishing Polgara the Sorceress, the last book of David Eddings Belgariad and Mallorean. My favorite series, I read them every year. I'll go to the library tomorrow and pick up The Hero of Ages, the last book of Brandon Sanderson's Mistborn series.

Nice. I got the complete Sherlock Holmes; every story about the 19th-century Batman that Sir Arthur Conan Doyle ever wrote. Just finished A Study In Scarlet, and began The Sign Of The Four. Just thought I'd one-up you, because I'm a dick like that. :p

Oh, and I'm also working on The Kid Who Climbed Everest, aka Bear Grylls' first book. It details how he became the youngest British guy to summit Everest, and was written before he got all famous and televised.

So I'm pretty set up for reading material for the time being.

Michael Chrichton's "Timeline", based on my friend's urging that it is the best book ever written.
I don't know about your friend's opinion, but it is one hell of a book. I'd recommend it to anyone.
