I just finished A Great and Terrible Beauty by Libba Bray earlier today. It's a fantasy/supernatural set in Victorian London.

If you haven't read the Dark Tower series, I highly recommend you do. I'm currently re-reading book VII, and it's fantastic (though the experience does get much better if you've read other Stephan King books). Some other books that I suggest reading: Dune (Frank Herbert), the Sword of Truth series (Terry Goodkind), the Discworld books (Terry Pratchett), and the Worldwar/Colonization series (Harry Turtledove).

The eagle and the wolves by Simon scarrow. gogogo historical fiction.

I'm waiting for Bernard cornwwell's book on the saxon stories. Man, you wait about 4 months for the burning land and finish it in less than a week, and have to wait forever again.

I'm currently reading The Altar of Eden by James Rollins. Surprisingly, there's been little to nothing about religion it.

I'm actually juggling between a few books at the moment.

First and foremost is Michael Chrichton's book Next. (no, not the movie)

I'm also reading through a large collection of Battletech novels I picked up recently (after learning they even existed) for very cheap. Most have been quite enjoyable so far.

I'm reading Xenocide by Orson Scott Card, a good SiFi book with lots of twists and more spaceflight and aliens than Mass Effect, but this is one of the last of his books in the series so if you interested start with Ender's Game.

I'm currently reading the "Percy Jackson & The Olympians" series by Rick Riordan. I recently finished "The Saga of Darren Shan" by Darren Shan and the latest entry in "The Dresden Files" series by Jim Butcher.

All of the above series are awesome reads. I encourage all readers to give them a shot if you haven't already.

For some reason, I picked up the 4th Harry Potthead book, turned to the middle page and started reading from there.
