What book are you reading right now?

I'm rereading, for like the fifth time, the entire Three Worlds Cycle by Ian Irvine. Bearing in mind these are eleven books so far (onto the tenth at the moment) with three more due for release, all of which are at least 600 pages long, and very big and long and take ages to read. Sci-fi/fantasy, by the way.

I'm also rereading the entire Twilight series, I'm about a third of the way through the first book so far. Also looking forward to the release of the Eclipse film in late June, too

Still trying to read Wicked by Gregory Maguire, I started reading it ages ago then lost it then found it yesterday, I'll probably have to go back a chapter to remember where I was.
I have a load of partially finished books and books I need to read.
Then there's my revision notes I need to read, preferably before my exams...

I just walked into a book shop, asked if they had a copy, and they ordered it in. £8 and a weekend of waiting for it to be delivered.

No, no first printings, I am in North America, they seem incredibly hard to find here. Amazon.com has them all well over $100. They actually reprinted it... In French here in Canada, which is nice, but useless to me. lol Maybe I should try some online shops from there? Do you know any that ship to Canada?

No idea, but a quick check using my evil capitalist powers reveals that it's available for a mere £4.77 from the UK Amazon site.

It says £4.76 (What's that in US dollars? anywhere from $6-$12, I think. Don't ask me about Canadian dollars, I have enough trouble with two currencies.) and free worldwide delivery. Incidentally, it's the same version of the book I have.

I'm a real bookworm, always looking for a new world to lose myself in, but I'm having trouble finding a real attention grabber right now. The last REALLY good book I read was The Desert Spear, the most recent book from the Demon War by Peter V. Brett. I then tried to attempt a non-scifi/fantasy book called Adrenaline by Jeff Abbot, I haven't finished it but it just isn't keeping my attention like a scifi/fantasy.
I'm just wondering, what are you reading right now? Who's it by?

I read the first one of the Demon War in german. I loved it!
Currently I am reading "The digital plague" by Jeff Somers... again.
Awesome SciFi novel and the second book of what soon will be four books. Good stuff.

After that more Chuck Klosterman. "Killing yourself to live" ranks under my Top 3 favourite books, so I bought every other book by him but didn't read them yet.

The autobiography of Benvenuto Cellini.

He was a 16th century italian goldsmith who did some incredibly badass things in his life, it's just so well written especially for being translated from a renaissance era language. I'm sort of a history nut so I love the book that much more and the copy I own was printed in 1935

Just re-read American Gods by Neil Gaiman. Love that book.

Hah, I'm working my way through my third reread right now! It really is a brilliant book, I completely agree. One of the best I've ever read, even.

I also just finished Ilium by Dan Simmons. Great book. Combines the best of epics, fantasy, and sci-fi. Can't wait to read the sequel, Olympus.

Currently reading In the Country of Last Things by Paul Auster. About a young woman trying to find her way in a post-economic-collapse world.

Can also highly recommend most of his other novels, especially Oracle Night, The Brooklyn Follies, The Book of Illusions, Moon Palace and the New York trilogy.

Beautiful post-modern literature but also damn good stories, very emotional in parts.
