What brought you to the Escapist?

I know, right? Who would have thought that someone would find this site from Zero Punctuation?

Okay, enough sarcasm. I will say that I found Zero Punctuation via XPlay, when they were showing brief clips. That got me interested enough to look it up on YouTube. Then I realized that there was a large number of people ripping off his style and that I didn't want to dig through tons of imitators to find the real deal. So that's when I came here. Of course, I totally didn't realize that there was a forum on this site, and after six or so months of lurking, I finally decided to join. Surprisingly enough, I've made a very little amount of enemies... little amount.

I'm very very surprised that no one has mentioned Unforgotten Realms as the thing that brought them to this sanction.

The Escapist started showing their videos, and that led me here.

Friends would link me Zero Punctuation videos, I wanted more so checked out the Escapist, liked what I saw and have been coming back regularly since. I watch Zero Punctuation, the Jimquisition and MovieBob's videos every week.

I discovered Zero Punctuation after it was referenced extensively on TV Tropes. Now I stay for Unskippable and Jimquisition (used to watch Moviebob, but recently only watches his videos occasionally cause I cant help but feel he's biased)

I found Zero Punctuation somehow from AVGN... I had run out of James Rolfe vids to watch, and youtube had one linked to ZP... well, actually it was a poor ZP rip off... which was god awful! I then went to ZP after reading it in an angry comment on the rip off vid! I then found my way here, and watched them, then found the forum, and the rest is history... Well... that was technically too, but the rest is not as interesting!

I heard of Zero Punctuation when Yahtzee was writing for PC Gamer. Years later, I decided on a (very late) whim to watch his stuff. And lo, it was good.

I came to the forums because the topics on the sidebar and all their contents looked interesting, so I joined up in August after a year of merely reading through the forums. Totally glad I did get an account. Cool people abound on this forum.

The amount of 'ZP led me here' posts makes me wonder how many users would pack up and leave if Yahtzee decided to go to another site... I'd probably stay though, Critical Miss and Name Game are good enough to have me around.

A friend wouldn't stop quoting ZP, so I eventually decided to look it up. I started watching around the time of the AVP episode, then got a profile a little while later. The rest is history.

Well a friend showed me zero punctuation, and I liked it so I started watching them. Unskippable adds would play before the videos so eventually I caved in and watched, and that my friends is how I came across loadingreadyrun. Who then started hosting their videos here, so I come here even more often.
