What brought you to The Escapist?

I too was drawn here by ZP, and while obsessively watching his videos every week, I frequently noticed interesting forum topics, sometimes I would even click on them to see what they were about, and finally I decided to just go ahead and join so I could chip in on the forum topics.

This is my story, word for word.

Friend of mine snuck up on me and plugged ear phones into me one lunch time when I wasn't looking and I ended up listening to ZP.

Listened to Yahtzee for a while without subscribing. After he did that cross over with Unskippable I was introduced to everyone else. A few months later I than bothered to actually join the forums after one of my older websites I was a member of closed down.

I joined mainly as the users here don't seem to flame or insult you as much as anywhere else.

Same... Sorta. I stuck with the site because of this, but ZP brought me to the website. I also joined around the time unskippable started, and that lead me to LRR and their site... It's like a gateway drug... On the internet?
