What Can I Play?

The old Sierra games, Settlers, Civilization 3 probably, some old shooters.

I had a laptop just as bad and the best thing I could run was Star Wars: Empire at War on lowest settings

I recommend Morrowind. And Torchlight. Torchlight runs on fucking anything it you lower the settings. ANYTHING.

You can run Morrowind, maybe mid-high. You computer might also be able handle the high res texture packs.

I have ZERO motivation to invest in a gaming PC.

Because there is basically no PC support for JRPGs.

Go with Morrowind like some previous posters said, Torchlight, Diablo 2, Fallout original collection, No One Lives Forever, original Half Life, Gunman Chronicles, etc.

Honestly, I've been carrying my silly old netbook around and playing these bad boys in all my classes.

They're still a load of fun.

Have to recommend Morrowind as well. Also try Black and White 2. Your rig is very similar to mine, and I can play both on Maximum graphics with ease, so you should be able to as well.

I'd use onlive, I'm already a member and such but I'd like to think it'll get bigger and better support, everything it has out is avaliable on a console and looks so much better than it does on my laptop.

I'll be getting a new one at some point and at that point I might use it more

You should have no problems playing pretty much any game from http://www.gog.com/en/frontpage/

Personally, I recommend the Fallout-games, Baldur's Gate, Painkiller(Worked on an even crappier laptop I might add), Planescape Torment, XIII and the Heroes of Might & Magic-games.

I think Dawn of War could work too. I know I've played it on much worse.
I would also recommend gta-San Andreas.
The original Fallouts.
