The show had potential, but it could not do a proper joke until it was too late. The problem was that could never make a good build-up united with a good punchline for the joke. Either the build-up was good, but the punchline was lacking or the build-up was poor and no one could get the punchline.Vault101 said:I think it was still around when I first joined up...never saw it thoughRaikuFA said:Game Dogs.
out of curiosity what was so awful about it?
ALF was a hit in the gut, true but the behind-the-scenes talk is that it was so technically unsound (and apparently unsafe) and some of the actors (I'll give you a hint, his character's name can also be used to describe a man's Johnson...) had a problem with ALF getting the best lines. Actually apparently every actor on that show aside from ALF's voice hated the show because of the long hours it took to make it, and the potential danger of falling through a puppet's trapdoor on the soundstage.Nabohs said:I miss them too, and it was more intense because they essentially did what ALF did on TV. Is there noone else!
I second this. I miss that show. It left from a lack of funding, and I don't know if the series kept going or not. I kept an eye on the site, but after 6 months of no update I decided it must be dead and moved on.cybran said:Unforgotten realms
