Extra Credits for sure. They made great episodes that causes you to think as much as chuckle at their jokes.

Rebecca Mayes Muses First and Foremost.
Then I Hit it With My Axe.
Then Extra Creditz.
Then Lisa Foiles

There just aren't a lot of content created by women left on escapist.

The only thing I look forward to nowadays is Tales of the Table and Love FAQ. Though sometimes Movie Bob will do something cool.

I think it was still around when I first joined up...never saw it though

out of curiosity what was so awful about it?
The show had potential, but it could not do a proper joke until it was too late. The problem was that could never make a good build-up united with a good punchline for the joke. Either the build-up was good, but the punchline was lacking or the build-up was poor and no one could get the punchline.

The main characters were pretty boring compared to the secondary characters.

Although...I'll remember Bob and the term "Booth-*****" fondly.

I miss Lisa Foiles. Yes, she was rather blatantly exploitative with her prettiness and her lists (god, the internet and fucking lists.) but I liked it.

Also,Unforgotten Realms. God I miss that show.

I'd say extra credit but

A) they weren't cancelled so much as had a falling out with the escapist and

B) they're on penny arcade so...

i guess i do miss doomsday arcade. yeah yeah i know they weren't cancelled they just finished the show but it was such a suck ass ending and up to that point i was really enjoying there style of humor.

Doraleous and Associates rocked so hard.

Is there noone else!
I miss them too, and it was more intense because they essentially did what ALF did on TV. Stop the show at the most intense part of the series
ALF was a hit in the gut, true but the behind-the-scenes talk is that it was so technically unsound (and apparently unsafe) and some of the actors (I'll give you a hint, his character's name can also be used to describe a man's Johnson...) had a problem with ALF getting the best lines. Actually apparently every actor on that show aside from ALF's voice hated the show because of the long hours it took to make it, and the potential danger of falling through a puppet's trapdoor on the soundstage.

I second this. I miss that show. It left from a lack of funding, and I don't know if the series kept going or not. I kept an eye on the site, but after 6 months of no update I decided it must be dead and moved on.

Okay, I'll be wierd here. I miss the ORIGINAL Reliable Source, when wilsonscrazybed was writing it. I also miss The Escapist Show, back when the staff had the time for it. Show About Games Show wasn't too bad, kinda reminded me of an SNL-styled thing that never really hit its mark.

Other than that, can't really say I miss anything. I did rather enjoy the podcast when it was Yahtzee and what'-his-face from AStW, but that's being done by the staff now and it's not quite as funny. Oh, and the fiction issue of the actual magazine proper. Those were always interesting reads.

Unforgotten Realms... It's sort of still going but it's been a case of 3 episodes released in about as many years since it left Yhe Escapist
