Short and simple.

What cartoon gives you the greatest sense of nostalgia when you see it?

For me, its gotta be Thundercats.

How about you?

Three Stooges.

Oh wait, you said cartoons.

Well I grew up with Pokemon, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Pinkey and the Brain, Animaniacs, Freakazoid, Dragon Ball Z, Gundam Zero Wing, Thundercats, Catdog, Ed, Edd, 'n' Eddy, Johnny Bravo, Dexter's Lab, and pretty much anything on Toonami.

Those were the 90's, from 2000 on I watched Samurai Jack, Megas XLR, and a few others, again pretty much anything on Toonami.

It was a good childhood...

Pokémon. Ah, good times, good times. Except when it was one of those walking episodes....
Edit: And Digimon, BeyBlade, Yu-gi-oh. Now I feel sad...

Um, more than 1.
Pick almost anything from the entire mid to late 90s lineups on Nick and Cartoon Network.

Many, many wasted hours in front of the TV, and it was a childhood well spent.

Reboot, Pokemon, Digimon, and Beasties. At least, those are the shows bathed in nostalgia for me, so musch so that I can't help but like them.

Loony Tunes was actually on in a collected format when I was a kid. So those bring back a bunch of memories.

Transformers, Count Duckula, and Voltron too.

God, what a long list:

Simpsons, Sonic (the good one), TMNT, Power Rangers (does that count?), Various Disney Cartoons until we got cable, Various Nicktoons until Spongebob suffocated the life out of Nickelodeon, and Toonami until it was taken off Cartoon Network because it is a poorly run network that doesn't have a clue what shows it should really line up to get the best results. Static Shock, Spiderman 90's Version, Batman (90's, Beyond, and 200X's were all good), as well as Justice League (while unlimited felt too short and left much to be desired).

In short, Simpsons, superhero shows, animes, and gimmicky cartoons until Spongebob messed it up. I miss the days of Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck.

Simpsons, Arther, recess, and lets not forget Dragon ball z.
There are a lot more but it's to much work to write them all down :p
