Specifically, the fact that a utopia in which everyone is brilliant and selfishly seeks their own ends is one that will inevitably destabilise. Too much power and too much selfishness, and a lot of people in a very tight space, are a perfect recipe (one among many) for annihilation.

lack of religion and morals couldnt have caused the downfall of a city,but i think the lack of morals led to things that could have ended rapture,such as unethical subject testing,or splicing 2 many plasmids (wich of course led 2 madness) but mostly i think it was the war between fontaine and ryan's splicersmasakoz said:
