You forgot he was racist against blacks .

Gandhi was influenced by the segregationist attitudes at the time. He was educated and lived in Britain and South Africa. But he later changed his views in seeing how all races were treated poorly under the white rule in South Africa and India. Nelson Mandela and Martin Luther King were followers of him.
