What did you get for Christmas?

Whether it was given to you as a gift or you bought it for yourself, what did you get this year?

This year about the only thing worth mentioning in my eyes that I got was something I bought for myself, and that would be this.

Yes, I bought myself a LEGO fire truck, and I am proud of it.

I got two charms for my charm bracelet and some cash monehs.

Being a single only-child in your 20s means you don't get that many presents for Christmas but I'm happy with what I got.

I got a book by Edogawa Rampo from my girlfriend, an aunt gave me a shirt and my dad gave me some cash. My sister gave me squat. My mom got me something but I'm getting it tomorrow. And I bought myself BioShock Infinite some days ago but didn't really consider it an "Xmas present".

EDIT: And a short pair of cargo pants and some more money.

Some chocolate, a DVD player, a bottle of vodka and some money, which I have since gone on to buy some music CDs with as well as a collection DVD of all the first 9 Tomb Raider games for PC. Pretty damn good if I do say so myself, though the whole "Christmas spirit" thing isn't prevalent in me like it was when I was younger.

Some chocolate, some nice pyjamas, some money from my granddad.
I also got a necklace, some slippers and Season 7 of Supernatural on DVD <3.

Also my brother got a 3DS so seeing his face was pretty great.
He also got a game called `Geek Battle`. My whole family played, we're quite a geeky family, I won though.
My boyfriend couldn't even name a single dwarf from The Hobbit. Dude needs to step up his game!

I got some perfume from my brother: Angel by Thierry Mugler, and a Gameboy color to replace my broken one (as a result I have been playing a hell of a lot of Pokemon Blue today), from my parents some Hispanita boots at £180, My best friend in Canada bought me a McGill Chemistry T-shirt with a periodic table on the back and from my grandparents I got iTunes giftcards, which I spent on the Scott Pilgrim vs the world videogame soundtrack, the Super Meatboy soundtrack, The original Guilty gear soundtrack and Blazblue in L.A vocal edition soundtrack, to make going to work a little more bearable.

All in all I was pretty spoilt this Christmas, but believe me, I responded in kind.

I got a new computer chair and some sweaters for work from my family. And then I bought a lot of games on the steam sale that are too many to list. (that and im lazy)

Games games and more games, and I'm totally cool with that.

I got Super Mario 3D World, Pokemon Y(already had X, but I wanted Y too gosh dang it!), Gears of War Judgement, Metal Gear Rising, Pokemon Soul Silver, a 30 dollar gift card for a clothing store, and a neat Reshiram shirt straight from a Pokemon center in Japan.

Considering my brother just gets games too and we both play most of them, I guess you could say I got Infamous Collection, Metal Gear Solid HD Collection, Far Cry 3, Dead Space 3, and New Super Mario Bros. 2.

Quite a lot of things but my main present was a box full of baking tools which contained:

I got some other stuff like pyjamas, chocolate and Wreck This Journal plus some other books by the same author.

I'm also getting a sewing machine tomorrow.

Not much except a few clothes and a gift card for a movie theater/dine-in restaurant combo place. But I don't really mind not getting much if anything for Christmas because I'm over 30 and don't live with my parents anymore and my wife and I are on a tight budget at the moment so our Christmas is mainly for our daughter which is 100% better than getting a crap ton of gifts.

1001 Videogames to Play Before You Die, Sherlock season 1 and 2, a fancy Jack Daniels tumbler, some beer, a new CD wallet, Lynyrd Skynyrd's (pronounced leh-nerd skin-nerd) album, Hugh Laurie's Didn't It Rain album, a Kindle Fire HD tablet, The World's End and, the crowners - Genesis of the Daleks, the Tom Baker Doctor Who serial voted the number 1 serial of all time and The Day of the Doctor, the 50th Anniversary Special that aired earlier this year!
