I think my COUNTRY is a little harsh on Australia, considering we sent a lot of out convicts there just so we didn't have to deal with them, but me? I think Australia is great. You sir, clearly have no idea what the Commonwealth refers to. It's more like a league of nations, not the military junta you clearly think it is. Perhaps you're thinking it's some weird form of communism? (given that, you know, we have social security here - you won't be eating steak every day, but you won't starve if you can't work, and you'll never have to choose between paying the rent or seeing the doctor)

I am australian and there seems to be a LOT of misconceptions, just a few months ago it was freezing. sydney is bassically just a smaller new york. I rarely see snakes or even spiders. last time I saw a kangeroo was years ago. and we have not had a barbecue in months

I disagree with your assessment that Sydney is a "...smaller new york". I'd say it is more like a hollow London
