My hair isn't too long, but it grows relatively slowly. It's pretty long for me though, I usually get it cut every two or three months and it's definitely been at least two months since I had it cut. I always make sure my hairdresser keeps it at least two inches though. I don't like having short hair, mid-length to long is fine for me. By the way, I get a lot of say in what my hair is like, my hairdresser is my mom. And before anyone starts commenting, like "grow up dude, you're 19 and your mom still cuts your hair?", she's actually a qualified hairdresser even though it isn't her actual job, and you can forget asking me to pay barber prices when I can just get it done completely free by her when I'm home from university. Which is roughly every three months, plus all of summer.
I also happen to be extremely hairy everywhere else, oddly enough. I simply refuse to shave anywhere other than my face and head, and I'm definitely not going to willingly be waxed. I'm proud of being hairy. In fact, usually I shave my face every week, now I've been unshaven for about two weeks and I'm just letting a beard grow. Simply to see what it looks like, and then when it stops looking good on me I'll shave it off.
I did have a friend back home who had extremely long hair though, he's my brother's former best friend, and when I saw my brother's group prom photo last summer I actually mistook this guy and another guy for girls. Until my brother pointed them out again and I realised that I knew both of them. I literally couldn't tell that they were guys who I knew, for both of them their hair was below shoulder length. One of them is ginger, by the way...
