Sci-fi figurines, (mostly Star Wars) and LEGO men I find. My favourite is the astronaut LEGO man I found on the bottom of a pool.

Oh and sword/bow and arrow/dagger pendants.

I have every one of the original "darren shan" vampire books. you know, the good ones.

and what kind of lighters? zippos, or are they a variety?
It started out with regular disposable lighters and the like, I was working as a glassy in a nightclub, and would come across at least 1 a weekend, sometimes 4 or 5, but after a while I was just finding repeats of colours that I already had. I have found 3 zippos though, luckily each was a different colour (one black, one chrome and one olive) - but my rule is that I'm not allowed to buy any, I need to find them.

I collect Alan Moore comics, I have V for Vendetta, From Hell
I didn't know Alan Moore did From Hell.

I didn't even know that was a comic.
Yep, 10 Issues, printed from 1991 to 1996. It's completely different to the movie with Johnny Depp.
Oh. So it has no relation to the movie?

That's cool, I'll go read those now...if I can find them anywhere. Would they sell them at Books A Million?
They may have the collected version, which was released in paperback and hardcover. When I say it's "nothing like the movie" The movie was roughly based on the comic, but only a few plot lines are similar, while the comic is incredibly multi-layered and dense, but it is still a story about the Jack the Ripper murders.
Found it yesterday in a paperback like Watchmen is in now. It's fucking awesome, like any other Alan Moore comic

I personally collect coins, old game consoles/joypads/sticks and old cameras.

I'm particularly interested in old handhelds and polaroid cameras.

Teacups, I have about 20, but I'm waiting to get more until I have a proper display cabinet.

I used to collect all that usual geeky stuff like trading cards and figures. Nowadays I just collect music, movies, books. Whatever I find interesting.

Replica weapons: swords, knives, bows, crossbows, flintlocks, revolvers, rifles, you get the idea. I even had a 6 foot homemade trebuchet in my garden for a while until a friend told me "enough is enough".
It costs a fortune, takes up stupid amounts of room and my time and yes, even I think its creepy. Why couldn't it have been coins? Why?!

Glad to have helped.

I thought of a couple of other things that I guess I collect but that I wouldn't really say I'm a collector of - Gin bottles.

I know, that's kind of weird, but I have quite a few (Tanqueray, Tanqueray No 10, Hendricks, Plymouth, Plymouth Sloe, Gordon's, Bombay Sapphire, Junipero and City of London (really doesn't belong up there with the others, although I would eventually like to weed out Gordon's, Bombay and City of London and replace them with some good Old Tom gins or something).
