What do you come to The Escapist for?

I came here because of Unforgotten Realm, but now that it's gone, I remain here only for the RPing and the people.

The articles are pretty nice, too.

Well, forums and videos, mostly. Forums are the ones I come to visit every day, and I do often also watch the videos here.

I came for ZP and stayed for the forums[footnote]That..and it's my only social outlet. Please don't send me away, I don't want to be alone..[/footnote]. I've been lurking since '07, some time around the Halo 3 review.

I'd been on a few forums in the past and none of them were as generally friendly and like minded as this one. The last one I was really involved in was the Runescape forums. There were a few nice personalities but mostly they were 14 year olds with attitude problems.

I think "came for ZP, stayed for forums" is going to be a staple response for this thread.

The forums, without question. I liked ZP for a while, but it grew to be stale and unfunny, so I stopped watching it. I never really got into the other shows, so my reason for coming here is for the forums and my friends here.

Now, I still watch the videos, but really, I come to the Escapist for the user groups and Forum Games.

Because of the interesting conversations you can have with interesting people from different cultures all over the world. I came here to watch ZP but I also like to watch MovieBob who I think is a tad bit underrated. Also I like the news from here... The news here doesn't seem to be affected by any bias and we even get it earlier here than some news stations... How do you guys do it??.
