Excellent question.

I counter with this! [http://clannad.wikia.com/wiki/Tomoya_Okazaki]
I... huh. Yeah I do see some similarities. Cool, yet another anime character I identify with :D
Haven't seen Clannad yet though. I've been avoiding it because I don't want to be depressed >.>

Clannad's not that depressing. At least not for me. Gurren Lagann was much better suited to get me teary eyed. >.>

Unfortunately I've been unemployed since graduating High School. I didn't try much my first year out of School... But the 2nd year I found Temp Work at a local dollar store resetting said store, also I got into an interview for a local Factory but I never got called back lol. and now It's been Three Whole years and I still haven't found anything. Sucks living in a small town in a county with already-high unemployment rates.

It's not really a Job but I volunteer at the county Food Bank every week... I enjoy doing it and they could use my help so It's a win/win I suppose, Beats sitting around doing nothing.

Isn't that the anime with all the fanservice of the main girl?

.... that doesn't really narrow it down, does it? >.<
Okay just looked it up and yeah, it's the girl in that skimpy red bikini. Didn't know that was sad ;~;

But I always that Clannad was supposed to be one of the more depressing/sappy anime out there >.>

Not that much fan service. Plus you'll be distracted from that fan service by another kind of fan service. Epic fights. Seriously. The passion in that anime is like no other.

And, yes, Clannad is depressing. But like I mentioned in my review. I didn't cry at all. I is heartless. :3

Am a student, but just got a job planting trees and stuff for the city for the summer. Quite nice, working outdoors and physical labor is something that has been lacking (last semester was 8 hours a day in front of a computer).

I've been in apartment maintenance for about a year now, I'm not certified in a lot of the stuff one normally does for the job. They have me mostly painting and moving appliances because I'm bigger than all of my coworkers.

Not ideal work, but I'm learning essential skills so that's nice.

I work for the municipal government where I live...well, actually I work for a contract company and they pay me to work for the client, which at the moment is in the IT department for the municipal government.

Image Management is the role...basically I architect Windows to work in whatever environment I'm put in. Currently using tools like Microsoft Deployment Tool, Windows Deployment Services, SCCM et al. Challenging, fun work. I get a real sense of accomplishment when I make a new piece of hardware work perfectly in our environment, especially with the new hardware out there, and trying to make WinXP 32 work on it...sometimes it's a little tricky.

Slowly working towards corporate wide Win7 x64 rollout/deployment.

yeah...that's it.

I point cars where to park and avoid getting run down or glassed by drunk people.

All for 10$ an hour.

Dam you for being everywhere!^^ again I also didn't cry at Clannad+after story. I did however cry a single tear at the end of Gurren Lagann and at other times (episode 8 :C).

OT: I am still a student and have never had a job in my life.

I'm everywhere and nowhere. Cookie for reference.

I swear, Gurren Lagann is a completely different ball game. Such a range of emotions. @~@

Yeah, it's great if you ever want to be driven to a hatred of life, and most of the people in it. Also if you ever wanted to start alcoholism its a decent job too.
