I always try to imagine a wave of relaxation going through my body, from top to bottom. Then bottom to top, and exhale all the frustration. Try focusing on a specific sound in the background (like an air conditioner or something) and just close your eyes. Imagine the flow going through you.

I know it SOUNDS weird and loopy, but it's the only thing that works for me. I always said stuff like that didn't work til I practiced it in a psych hospital with a good friend/staff there.... So yeah. Obviously you're desperate and need a not-so-commonly-thought-of solution, or else you wouldn't be here. Give it a shot, lemme know how it works after trying it a few times?

I've always found listening to my favorite songs really calming.
For example, I've found listening to classic rock while playing MW2 really helpful. Usually i get angry if Lady Luck and Sir Skill aren't on my side, but with Free Bird playing, i just run around like a madman, and don't care about anything.
As i said, this was just an example, and can be used outside of gaming, too, of course ;D

I usually write, read, or exercise. Those three things usually calm me down. Or I'll listen to music, which puts me in a better mood.

I hardly get "pissed", though. And I use those four things for any other bad mood, like being upset.

This sounds weird but i try listening to metal music. The fact that they sound so angry somehow seems to calm me. Same if i get a bit depressed, i lsiten to depressing songs and it somehow seems to cure me of the depression. Sort of, hey my life can be a bit msierable at times but someone else has been through worse.

With the anger thing though its probably coz i like metal and after listening to it for years its just sort of normal for me, but it definitely calms me down. Or alternatively, just go sit on your bed, draw the curtains and either try to sleep or empty your mind. Works well

I find that listening to music doesn't help me much; if I'm already in a crappy mood, I don't really have much desire to listen to 'nice' music, and all my angry metal just works me up more. Playing music however, usually calms me down fairly quickly. Especially banging on the drums.

If I'm angry I'll usually shout and maybe vent my frustrations at inanimate objects (but I rarely break stuff) and it'll dissipate with time. If I'm among others, I'll generally prod my arms kind of, doing that distracts me somehow.

Sometimes I'll go play games, or visit forums or something like that... if I get stressed out at a game, I'll usually quit it and go read a book or something.

I listen to music and go take a walk. As I walk I usually start off thinking about it all and being pissed or sad (depending on what emotion I was feeling) but as I walk around I get better. Works best at night or when there is nobody around for another reason (but usually the only reason there is nobody around is that it's night).

Posting on forums on the internet actually. Sometimes they can be helpful, other times they aren't, but it just feels nice to know someone else is aware of your issue, whether they care or not.

I listen to music and try to empty my head. I don't stay pissed very long, but that anger turns into irritation that only goes away with a good night's sleep, LOL.

showers and swimming... I find water calming esspecially being underwater really relaxing since there is no noise its just you floating along with nice cool water in peacful silence with only your thoughts.

I also tend to take showers when I need to think I have solved so many things from jsut a good shower

I moan to a friend or family member. Reassurance from others seems to be the only thing that can snap me out of a bad mood.

Nice to know it's not just me. I have this white noise relaxation CD that's a surprisingly violent thunderstorm. It's calming.
But yeah, I get some of my best ideas in the shower.
Making bread is also relaxing. I guess it just feels good to punch the hell out of it and then leave it sitting their proofing and getting ready for round 2. :]

Punch sometime. Not anything living though. Read a bit, listen to my playlist on my Xbox, play a game or two and eat something, once again, not living.

When I'm feeling really troubled, I typically just go all out until I'm burned out. Then I become calm. No point trying to calm down when you're about to explode, might as well explode in a controlled manner and pick up where you left off.

Being alone, listening to loud music, and generally blowing shit up tends to help.

Like others have suggested a shower is a good place to just think things over and chill out.
