Guys who have no manners or can't speak well. Also, those who seem to fear bathing as they can be smelled from across the room.

As my fellow Escapists have said, many things can turn me off. I'm very picky. But the things that turn me off the most are smoking, arrogance (as in personality), inability for expressing their feelings, too much make-up (some is fine, but these days it's ridiculous), pretending that smoking weed "isn't all that serious" and lack of overall fitness or finesse. I know I'm picky, it's just that I dislike pretty much everything the general populace dislikes, as I stated above.

Smoking, funky piercings, a plethora of tattoos, unhealthy body weight in both directions (anorexia and obesity), the duck face, and excessive amounts of makeup. I actually think the average girl is better looking with little to no makeup. Basically, if I notice the make-up, it's too much (this is countered by the fact that I'm fairly oblivious to those kinds of things).

Feet!

Well, usually.

Last night was weird!
*blink* *blink* So you'd rather your date not have feet?! How bizarre...

OT: Facial hair... *hrk*

Seriously, as many people have mentioned: tobacco consumption (as a former smoker, I'd like to distance myself from it, thankee), weight extremes, histrionics & overwhelming smell (of any sort).

I dislike being around people (regardless of gender) that slather themselves in perfume, aftershave etc. It is quite nauseating. An individual's smell needs to be subtle and complex.

I'd insert anecdote, but not sure of freakiness level...

Definitely smoking.

Smoking, and, although this may be a given, lying.

Had to deal with both at the end of the last one...
I think the key factor would be 'excessive or addictive'. So smoking, hard drugs, alcoholism (because very few of us would be against a partner getting a little trashed every now and then, but most of us would be against him/her being a chronic drinker).

So yeah, for me the biggest turn offs are addictions and that thig where people go that bit too far (with anything really, whether it be the gym, pets, talking about games, whatever, there is just that point where it goes from 'interest/hobby/whatever to 'obsession/compulsion'). So really, the things that turn me off are things that are 'too far', it's hard to explain, but if you've seen it happen then you'll know exactly what I'm talking about.

EDIT: Oh yeah, just a little disclaimer, I'm not a very sexual person, so this stuff just applies to relationships in general, which means I can continue.

Skinny guys with tattoos just look weird, most other people look weird with tattoos (I find very few tattoos appealing), girls who use too much make-up, anyone who lacks empathy, excessive piercings, that 'scene-kid' black haircut that seems to be going around the teenagers (a couple people I've seen have had variations of it that look nice, but most people just look stupid with it).

Drama queens and prima donnas. *shudders*
Too much makeup (makeup should accentuate, nothing more)
Baggy, shapeless clothes
Too much PDA (public displays of affection)

A profound lack of intellect, veering to either extreme (thin/fat, though in moderation I don't mind either), or someone who has a bad personality.

Grease (mainly greasy hair, it just kind of disgusts me)
Bad skin (not just like general acne but like major skin conditions.)
Fat (40 pounds over weight +)
facial structure (some peoples facial structures are just unattractive to me, I'm personally not fond of round faces, same applies for facial expressions, someone who generally has a pissed off look will make emphasize and become pissed off, same for sadness and happy and the like.)
Giggling. Not like laughing but when someone just kind of giggles between everything they say or giggles over every little thing.
Ignorance, I hate when someone pretends to know what they are talking about or listens to you and doesn't understand what your talking about then turns around and acts like they do instead of either saying they don't give a shit or asking for an explanation.
Excessive make up + skimpy clothes, used to know a girl who always wore a thong, a belly shirt, and had shit tons of make up on, kind of a turn off because bellies NEVER look as good in real life as they do in the movies.
religion, if a girl is a bit to religious or acts like it dictates her life I will try to avoid her. I also try to avoid girls that act like the whole world is against them or let some form of ideals define their entire lives... They gotta be able to have fun...
Other than that I'm not to picky....

Nope, that's not it for me at all. Smoking literally disgusts me. I have nothing against the people that do smoke- it's just that if someone does smoke, I can't sit next to them until their smell goes away. It's that bad.

Pretentiousness, or any other form of "I'm better than you..." attitude. Being mortal, fallible and human, no one has the right to claim to be above anyone else.
Also, an entitlist attitude. The only things we're honestly entitled to in life is birth and death.
Hood-rats are a major turn off as well.

Extremes in physical appearance
Extremes in mindsets like religion
Arrogance, ugh I hate that ego boosing mindset.
And of course smoking.

A lot of hate for smoking, personally I think smoking can be sexy. Then again I smoke myself, so I am biased.

Arrogance and no sense of humor (or a really bad/stupid sense of humor) are turn-offs for me.

Poor hygiene and poor physical fitness. This goes for anorexics as much as it does for obese women. If she has no muscle mass to speak of, or too much weight for her muscle mass to move easily, you can pretty much guarantee she'll be a dead fish in bed.

Beyond that, there are a lot of things I can overlook for the sake of my sexual gratification... I've slept with women that I absolutely despise before.

**edit**
*looks up one post*

Yeah, that too. She's gotta have clean, healthy, functional lady parts... and only lady parts.
