I hope to get a badge or two for posting a great thread...and I've got some now...but the addiction persists!

Booze.
And guns.
And girls.
Too bad none of this is really obtainable via the medium of post.

I wasn't aware of it until I read that post, but I probably let that very number decide my worth as a human being xD. Allthough it's a bit inaccurate since you'd get a very large number for saying something incredible stupid as well^^

I don't often make posts, but when I reply to a thread, I hope for someone to quote me and add something meaningful to the discussion, put in some personal anecdote, disagree respectfully or correct me respectfully. Its much better than someone saying that I'm some form of an idiot who apparently can't tie his own shoelaces because he said something WRONG on the internet.

I hope someone will discover my untapped brilliance and ask me to write their new Hollywood blockbuster screenplay.

I can just imagine the private message now:

"OMG UR POST SO GOOD... CAN U EDIT MY CIVICS PAPER PLZ?"

Lots of replies, new ideas, questions answered... etc.
I have totally said that to my roommates, and I will wait and keep refreshing the page hoping to continue whatever current argument I'm in the middle of. I love correcting people it's just fun :)

I hope for a collection of replies in agreement with what I'd said. When I'm creating a thread, I hope for this, I hope that a mod doesn't inexplicably lock it, and I hope that it can generate a discussion that can sustain itself without any further input on my part.

I'm pretty sure I'm the only person who doesn't like responding to my own threads, unless I absolutely need to. For the most part, I start a thread and then sit back and read people's responses.

I hope for quotations, it means someone read what I wrote and agreed with it. Or they think I'm mentally handicapped and want to tell me so indirectly.

God yes, it's like crack to me.

I seem to perk up when I see that, makes me feel warm inside, like I have worth on this forum.
