When it first became popular, I hated how it would spam my Facebook feed. Then I finally caved in and played it. I'll admit it was entertaining for a few weeks, but once I'd gotten to level 14, I realized that I wasn't having any fun and then moved back to my Xbox. I'm never picking that game up again. You can't lose in Farmville, and there's no way to not progress, bar not playing it. I can see how this would be a draw for some, but for others, not being able to fail means not having fun. It'd be like baseball, only set up so that both teams objective is to help the runner run the bases, and at the end, they both win. Zynga uses this method of progression to keep people hooked, but once you realize that you're just making a number go up, it's not fun. At all.
