I tend to care more about the face than the Body. Most girls have a decent body anyways :)

So things like eyes, smile and general appealing facial features needs to be in place for me to be attracted :)

Also she needs to have a personality and interests that match my own, or else there is no need to start anything anyways. :p

PS: Why is this topic "What do you look for in a girl?" because I do believe there are a lot of both hetrosexual ladies and gay men here, who I believe do not look for a girl :p

Because not every thread has to apply to every possible group on this forum. There are a million and one threads pertaining to gay rights and gay issues in Off-topic, so I would hardly argue that anyone is being disenfranchised.

OT: I could rattle off a long list of physical and personality traits I like, but to be honest the number 1 thing I like in a girl is enthusiasm for life, for me, for sex, and for the future.

My definition changes a lot. Usually by adding one or two critical element to the list that annoyed me with a previous relationship.

Initial list:

-Cute/pretty (I have a wide range of acceptance here)
-Strong/independent personality.
-Mutual respect and trust between us.
-Perhaps just a little crazy.
-Shares a common interest or two with me.

Additions after failed attempt #1:

-Not super clingy.
-Not completely insane.

Additions after failed attempt #2:

-Not completely allergic to any intimacy whatsoever.
-A desire to at least talk to me every few days, as opposed to never picking up a phone.
*important*- Must NOT constantly cancel plans and just not respond, even with excuses. (Once in a while is ok. Canceling every single plan over the course of 2 months and only getting to see her when I show up unannounced = instant breakup, no matter how perfect she is otherwise)
-In other words, she puts me in the same spot on her priority list as I put her on mine.
--------

Bleh. Sometimes I wish people would just tell me "no" instead of saying "yes" and then acting like they would if they had said "no". IT would save me a lot of trouble of having to update my list.

Oh I think I want to add another trait I like in a girl here:

She needs to be more more less emotionally stable, and just love how awesome life is. And together we can help eachother on the days that are not so awesome :p But I'd rather not have all her days be less than awesome :)

Geekiness and the wearing of glasses and hair dyed in some completely unnatural color.

What I love most about my girlfriend is that she is all of that. There wasn't any of this "The one I love turned out to be completely different from what I imagined" business; I wanted a geeky glasses-girl with blue hair and I got one.

Besides boobs and an ass because thats a given what else do you look for in a girl?
A strong, forceful personality.

Graceful - like a dancer, or a fencer.

Red hair (what can I say, it's a fetish).

Creativity is a plus.
Also being bisexual (or lesbian) so she's actually interested in me helps too. ^^;;

Edit: **reads other posts**

Damn, I missed a serious opportunity to make a sexual joke here. Silly me, answering seriously.

Let's see...

After much consideration, I've decided to reply with:

My hand, to the wrist.

A near runner up was: My sex toy collection.
...you and i need to be friends. where have you been all my life?

OP: i'm really up for anything. when i date girls, there are only three rules of appearance: must be taller than me (i'm 4'11", so this is not hard), prettier than me (also not hard...), and be curvy without being fat. as for personality, avoid using "like" as a space filler and be passionately interested in something that isn't on a TV screen and i'll like her.

I do believe you have listed everything I would have and exactly what I see in the girl I like. Are you secretly me?

I like a balance between looks and brains - there is no point in dating a girl that is either of these extremes, in my opinion. My ex-girlfriend was certainly in that category (I'm no prize looker myself) and in discussions with her since the split, the first thing that attracted her to me was my sense of humour.

It does work, so relax and try cracking less corny jokes around them. I just need to find someone else, before I go completely mad over it.

I dont look for Girls - If she in any way implies she wants me to pay any attention to her, shes probably attention seeking.

I dont look for people, so that people dont look for me.

Then if i ever meet someone, it wont be because either one of us was examining the other person.

I don't really have a lot of physical things I look for, just so long as she isn't as fat as me, size doesn't matter. I tend to look for intelligence first and foremost, if she's not smart, I'm not too attracted. Going along with that I like girls I can have long, in depth conversations with, which is one of the reasons intelligence is so important. Other than that I just look for someone I want to be around.

Somone who is pretty laid back, similar (not exactly the same) tastes in music, TV, films etc, doesn't spend all their time getting ready, easy to get along with, decent sense of humour, able to take a compliment, not overly bothered by my occasionally odd dress sense, able to put up with my love on video gaming. My current girlfriend fits that bill exactly, which makes me a very happy person

1. Reasonable attractiveness (my standards are a little low)
2. Trust (cannot have a friendship, let alone a relationship without that)
3. Reasonable level of intelligence (wouldn't hurt to know how to crunch numbers)

According to whomever I've spoken to in the past about this kind of topic, tis too much to ask for.

I've always been with slim, pretty girls, always made my friends jealous. Slim girls tend to have small/no breasts so thats never featured in my type...

Until I met my fiance who is slim with a MASSIVE rack when I damn near lost my mind. I had to ask her if they were paid for but apparently she is just damn lucky (apart from the constant back ache).

After getting to know her I have never met anyone who makes me laugh so much. She is constantly cracking me up. She is caring and tactile, fiercely loyal with a heart of gold. I guess thats my type.

We don't share all the same interests. Although she is accepting of my gaming and martial arts she never has a go herself, having said that I am not into her reality TV or fake tan obssession.

We are very different but I think thats why we work so well.

ARGH! sorry, Umm, intelligence and wit.
You're not the only one who thought, "What do I want in a girl? Me." when they saw the thread title.

OT: A sense of humor, caring nature, good looking, interest in gaming in some form, etc. Lucky my wife meets that description.

Pretty face, and not to fat.
That is all.

Also not a slut.
Major turn-off for me.
