I miss not knowing stuff. The world was so much more magical when I didn't understand how stuff worked.

Ignorance is bliss and all that jazz.

Waking up early in the morning on a saturday and watching new episodes of Freakazoid!...
Playing SNES games, then playing Playstation games...
Road trips to Reno or Disneyland...
Not being socially awkward...

Anime on British TV. Seriously, I watched Medabots, Digimon, Dragonball, Dragonball Z, and every now and again, Sailor Moon. Guess what? I can only find one of those, which may be Digimon, but that doesn't make me any happier when I find out...

1. It's on an obscure Kids channel with longer advert breaks, I swear they are.
2. It's Data Squad.
3. IT'S DATA SQUAD!
4. Calumon's Voice actor is some Native American style person who doesn't talk properly.

I swear they swapped character sheets during rehearsal for fun of it, I swear.

Calumon: I have a what now?

well all the nostalgia is just wonderful. But the carefree nature of being a kid is gone forever and if given the opportunity to do it again, hell yeah I would. All we have left are memories and that's a damn shame.
Pretty much what I was planning on saying...just the sheer obliviousness/ignorance-is-bliss sorta feeling that you kinda grow out of as you become whatever it is you become when that's lost...depressing topic is depressing.

The freedom to do whatever I wanted, whenever I wanted, or nothing at all.
No responsibilities, no schedule, nothing.

I miss good cartoons. When I was younger I could wake up on a Saturday and watch Looney Toons, Batman: The Animated Series (which was amazing!!!), Beast Wars!, Darkwing Duck, Pinky and the Brain, etc. But now it's just crappy shows like Spongebob Squarepants and whatever crap they play on Saturday mornings. Even when I was in highschool they still played Batman Beyond during the after school programming. I understand that things do change, especially in the realm of television, but why does everything feel like "happy go lucky funtime"? I miss the parts in Batman where people died! Yeah I was a little kid, but the only place I can find stuff like that now is in anime, which I also like. Anyways, that's my rant on what I miss.

I miss the television. Sure the cartoons now are just as stupid and nonsensical as the ones back then, but goddammit they were MY stupid and nonsensical cartoons.

being completely carefree and being able to amuse myself without the need for this "internet" lark, I seriously struggle to do that now :(

I miss hide-and-seek tag. That was a game that could keep me and a couple friends occupied for hours. We even stayed up all night one time while camping playing that game. It was amazing. But it's just not the same when you're all over the age of 16.

My parents didn't earn much up until a few years ago, so even the littlest things were really appreciated. I miss that sense of wonder at the trivial.

Oh, and my Lego collection. And not having the internet. Seriously, this thing makes everything pale in comparison, while making you a lazy and worthless human being.

The fact that I was the only person who existed. I didn't think about anyone other than myself. I wasn't selfish by any means, but other people just didn't occupy any of my thoughts. I was a child that had the world to myself. All I did was play games on my PS2, sustain myself and become educated. In school the people around me were just squishy mortal creature I had to endure for a few hours. Then I would return to Final Fantasy X and I wouldn't have a care in the world.
