Well, not as awesome as some of the stuff other people have put :p But I have a few things that's gotten people's attention...

-Joker's SR2 Cerberus Baseball Cap from Mass Effect 2
No longer in production, so I'm glad I got in there quick and got one :3 Every time I wear it I always get people saying "Hey, isn't that the cap the pilot wears in Mass Effect? Awesome!" Unfortunately, although I thought I was safe when it said "one size fits most," it ended up being slightly too tight, so I can't wear it too long or I end up getting a slight head-ache :/ But it's on display in clear view for friends most of the time, and that's good enough for me ^_^

-Mass Effect 3 "Tyvek" wallet
This doesn't get seen as much as my Cap, as it spends most of it's time in my pocket, wishing it had some money in it (*cries*), but it still get's mentioned, even by non-Mass Effect fans.

-"Alchemist's Bandolier" I purchased from Etsy
Expensive, but I love it. It's going towards a mage/ Steampunk scientist outfit I hope to put together in the future :p Only seen in photos by other people, as I'm not really willing to go out in public wearing it, at least not until I've got a full attire set up.

I also have a plain, Black waist-coat I wear for my girlfriend when we're out together. I try not to make too much of a big deal about it, but some of my female friends come up to me and says it makes me look good/ slim. I end up blushing and shrugging it off, but hey, feelsgoodman.jpg.

EDIT: SOooo many Mass Effect things I want D:

Well it doesn't really turn heads because basically no one sees it, but a part of a wall of my room is covered in kitten posters. Considering my age, gender and sexuality (17, male and straight) it would seem a bit weird if you didn't know me.

I like cats.

I keep a replica Colt Navy on my mantle and I have an entire bookshelf of PnP Roleplaying Games that I keep in the main room of my house (it's obviously nerdy but at the same time most hardcover RPG books are quite nice looking books)...

Also my cats, everyone loves my cats... attention whoring fuzzbeasts...

My boots designed by AYYA. Me and the GF are designers so we make a lot of our own stuff car parts, clothing, etc... So some stuff turns heads.
Those look cool, but the look like they'd feel a bit weird to wear.

Dear god that's awesome.

The only thing that I currently own that turned heads is two cosplays:

(the bra that gave me that super busty look was ruined by the evil washing machine, so I guess it won't turn many heads now)

Sorry, I don't have any pics of just me in it. People did take pictures of me in it at NYCC, but I haven't found any of them.

I have a number of "offensive" tops that have gotten a few laughs.

I have a few more

Well, on a few occasions I've dared to venture outside while wearing my top hat. That tends catch people's attention. Last week I went to town wearing my hat, a suit and a cane. Seeing as I can pass for 15 when shaved, it may have looked a bit odd. I considered getting a cape, but that would have been too much.

Quite a few things, actually.
My daily driver turns heads most places I go, being very British, from 1974 and in the States makes it a very rare sight:
My sword collection tends to either fascinate or scare the shit out of people who visit my house for the first time:
...and my favorite rifles tend to turn heads at any firing range:

-the PSL mostly for looking flashy, old, and very Soviet

-the Arisaka Type 99 for still having an intact imperial seal, for those who don't just have a "what the fuck is that?" reaction.

I've been known to wear a kilt in public, and the black, dark blue and green pattern of it kind of makes it blend together so it looks like a black skirt from a distance. Add a leather jacket because it's cold, and I look plenty strange.

Well, I have this thing on the wall of my living room:

It's about 7 feet tall, maybe about a foot and half wide. It's a pretty good conversation starter.

Oh, and we also have a foosball table.

My 2 year old son. :p he is HUGE for his age so most people guess that he is almost 4.

A massive collection of skulls.

Horror movie collection.

And, Even bigger collection of smiley faces.

When I was younger, it was a collection of brains in Jars. Sheeps' brains to be exact. Why, cause I wanted them. My dad thought it was interesting and actually got them for me.

Man, that is an absolute tragedy. Seriously.

OT: I buy a lot of strange-looking coats and jackets.
Funny enough, when I first start wearing them I feel like everyone's staring, but after a while I get used to it and it seems like nobody really notices. The only difference is my mindset.

Holy balls! Star Fox 2? I've played an emulation but I had no idea that cartridges were ever made. This is now officially the most impressive thing in the whole thread!

Used to have the walls and ceiling in my old place covered in band art and posters and such that gave my room a lot of stuff to let people's eyes wander across. Still nothing I had is a touch on ol Steven Stapleton's ranch:

My Kindle. It's sort of become a thing where I have to explain to people that it's not touch screen and why I specifically didn't get one with a touch screen or the actual tablet.
Because you didn't want fingerprint smudges obscuring your reading?

OT:

While I don't really take it out of the house, my Gurkha issue Kukri has intrigued some people.

For something that actually does turn heads in public...

That's pretty much how I was with the hat. I guess it's to do with personal self-consciousness. Though I still get people saying "howdy" when they pass me, or saying something to the effect of "lol Indiana Jones".

Exactly. Plus, the touch screen one doesn't do anything the one with buttons can't, so what's the point?

I know, and I can't really wear the top for the cosplay now either (as well as a very similar non-cosplay one) since it's backless, and the bra could be made strapless thus I could wear the top without looking weird. But it's ruined, and I'm stuck looking flat as a pancake. (haven't been able to find a replacement since the place I got it from was shut down)

That's a sweet coat by the way.

I own a Gameklip, a bit tame compared to some of the stuff on here. It basically lets me mount my smart phone to a PS3 Controller, and then use a wire to allow me to play certain games with PS3 Control. Its caught some attention at college where I used it, also helps with photos but most importanty it makes Dead Trigger mind bogglingly easy
