My boots designed by AYYA. Me and the GF are designers so we make a lot of our own stuff car parts, clothing, etc... So some stuff turns heads.
Those look cool, but the look like they'd feel a bit weird to wear.
Not at all, if you've ever worn sandals or flippty flops or whatever you call them its the same experience, you basically forget about the seperation and the toes have a wider range of spread which is a lot better for your feet.

The designers that made these also made the shoes for Mirrors edge, and the design of my boots was used in the 2009 Star trek movie.

I have a Katana, a gas mask, some oscilloscopes, and a plastic butt they use to teach nurses how to give suppositories, butt shots, and take your temperature. I am in no way associated with the medical profession. I also wear a bowler.

<spoiler=This Picture>http://www.bestsportsphotos.com/images/t_29208_01.jpg

its from a friend who gave me this really nice framed plaque thing of the Pens 1991-1992 team from their back to repeat stanley cup win (I have one of the 2008-2009 team as well). The cool thing about it is, Mario Lemieux and Jaromir Jagr's signatures beneath themselves. No certification though, but i'm cool with that, doesnt matter to me if its real or not, still a cool picture. I'm hoping Ron Francis stops up sometime in pittsburgh so I can get his signature on it too.

My Sonic Screwdriver/Motion-based Universal Remote.

I lived in a military academy and had that thing on its pedestal at the base of my TV. I rarely used it, aside from the cool factor, since a remote was easier, but I loved it anyway.
Whenever someone would come by my room, though (particularly my Staff Sergeant) they would ask, with minor variation, "What the hell is that thing?" One person even asked me if it was a lightsaber, while another bright young mind declared it had to be a dildo.

I would tell them what it was. They would tilt their head sideways, demand that I demonstrate, and then walk away with a confused look on their faces.
Every. G**d***ed. Time.
Still have it, still love it. Screw the haters.

Yeah I am a white guy with a shaved head. Of course I get different looks from total strangers. You know other white people seem to be the ones that have a problem with it. Almost been called every name in the book by other white people. Really strange comments from strangers like, "do you like listening to metal." Every time somebody asks me a stupid question like that, I just shake my head and call them a dumbass in my head.

Those are called Tobbis or something, right? My friend has some and he uses them with some of his other ninja-inspired gear to be a crazed pyromaniacal ninja that does some of our special effects. I was planning to get some to go with a sneaking suit that I'm making for a future film project of mine. Also, that last bit about Star Trek kicks ass. As dumb as those movies can get, they're still a fun ride. If I may ask, who uses them in the film?

I'm not too sure who it is that uses them, I'm not a big trek person myself that title would go to the GF. I think the romulans? does that sound right?

Any who they're pretty sought after by designers so most bigger productions that are heavily design based will sneak AYYA or skingraft stuff in, so if you keep a close eye out you'll see them everywhere.

Yeah, that seems to be about right, since the Romulans use some fairly unconventional stuff, including clothing. And that is quite cool. How much would a pair of those go for?

Everywhere I take it, people gather!

It's pretty rare nowadays, especially with this level of modding, and in such good condition. Believe it or not, she's 22 this year!

My alienware mx15 laptop used to turn heads, what with it glowing different colors. I don't take it out of my house anymore though cause it weighing as much as a normal computer tower. The interior of my Mazda 3 usually turns heads. The Bose sound system, the design of the air vents, bluetooth, it's all fucking awesome (it also leaves me broke). And once I get my black HTC One, that'll turn heads too

One Halloween, I dressed up as a go go dancer while sporting a goatee. One guy whistled at me, when I turned around, his jaw dropped. I said, "Buy me a drink?" and he lol'd.

I own the Balloonicorn from TF2, and the Balloonicorn shirt.

When I'm out in public I either look like I want to kill someone, or I look depressed, so seeing me with a pink unicron on my shirt makes some people think I lost a few screws.

I've got two large Hellgate London statues made from Weta Workshop. Most people are all "Whoa, that looks incredibly awesome and detailed. Tell me moar!". Some are all "But Hellgate London sucked. Your a ****** four getting thoos.". And a tiny few are all "Hey, Weta stuff! Mad!

My cars 3kW ICE always turns heads, my car is a stock Ford Focus not a boy racer car and it surprises people when it shakes the pavement. The system is disguised on the interior too, all the boxes and cases are finished in stock interior trim and takes up some of the boot but is not obvious and ostentatious. Until its turned on anyway.

I have a Mk1 escort in yellow, turns a few heads its also gets more attention at these car meets then the pricks that have spent 10k+ on a car with fancy lights and shit.

Ive only spent around 2'500 on mine over 10 yrs as i've done lot of the work myself

This aint a pic of mine but its the same model http://i144.photobucket.com/albums/r199/bmc076/EscortMk1RedFgura261008.jpg
You Sir have outstanding taste in cars /tips hat. I have dreamed of owning a MkI Escort but I prefer the comforts, safety and reliability of a modern car, much less of a headache so I could never sum up the courage to get one. Sad really because those older cars have so much character and charisma. Instead mine looks pretty boring. [http://imageshack.us/g/1/10170641/]

They were pretty expensive, usually they can go for $800+ but I was able to get a pretty heavy discount. Unfortunately the company closed a year or 2 ago :( which really sucks you can find some of their stuff on ebay sometimes but they are custom sized so it can be difficult to get a good pair.

Next time I get that sorta loose change I'm going for the Tron suit replicas

My LEGO collection. At the time of writing, I have 364 sets, totalling at around 80,000 bricks, over 870 minifigures and with a combined retail price of over US$8,500. It tends to get a lot of respect, and is the subject of enormous envy by nearly all who lay eyes upon it.

A grand piano. It is pretty gorgeous to look at and then there's the matter of its price (that of a new car).

Also, my trombone mouth piece. I tend to carry one around with me in my coat pocket and if I'm bored or I'm waiting for something, I'll sometimes pull it out and buzz on it.

What you've got in your ford is what I plan to have in my Chevy Blazer. It looks stock until it's active, and then it'll turn a few heads. I'm planning out modifications that'll be practical, as well as luxurious, such as a pair of subwoffers mounted in the rear liftgate.
