In Oblivion and Morrowind I always play rogue. In fallout I mostly went for small guns and repair. But in other games I generally just go all out damage.

The Berserker. Basically a light armored melee user who rushes needlessly and lets luck do the rest.

Depends on the game, but I usually tank it out.

If there's any option to immobilize my opponents, I take it. I always like a little breathing room.

i always end up as a cloak and dagger type, or bow and arrow if the game doesn't have that. Honestly i get bored with anything else, and you may call me a coward... but we'll see who gets the last laugh. After all, you can't kill what you can't catch.

i play as... population control...

my rule of thumb of the class i play:
Kill anything and everything that has the misfortune to cross my path.

What if I use a combo of both? Am I just a bit of a pussy/man?
No, that just makes you a pussy in denial.
Hey, I'm not in denial. If I'm a pussy, I'll admit it.

Hell, I know I'm a pussy! XD
Isn't the proper response "nya" with that kinda avatar and accusations of being a pussy?

It's just begging for a terrible joke like that!

In games where you are given a class choice, for me, it depends on what's available really.

In Oblivion, I'm a Knight class who strictly focuses on getting the job done by killing up close with big weapons. And obviously, I'll use the bow for long range damage if necessary.

In Fallout, I'm a simply the evil guy who can swindle his way out with speech skills sometimes and other then that, just blow stuff up with small arms and medium size guns, and my demolition skills.

In WoW, I'm a Paladin which I have to say is my favourite class because of the combination of attack power and magic use. It's definitely a class I like.

In Dragon Age, I like Warriors because there's versitility. You can either do a typical sword and shield tank style, a damage dealing 2h weapon style, or an interesting duel weapon deal (ya, it's more for rogues, but Warriors can rock it too).

In Mass Effect 1 I prefer the Soldier class because of the versitility of weaponry, Saren's a tough cookie to beat without a variety of weapons if you don't know how to distribute points to your biotic or tech skills properly. In Mass Effect 2 however, I love the Vanguard because not only do you have basically the same arsenal as the Soldier but you have biotic powers that dwarf most other classes.

However, if I like a game, I go back and reply other classes too.

Generally, given the option, I go for a "Jack of All Trades" class. That could be the Bard (in D&D) or a Rogue (more skills but none of those awful spells). In Oblivion, that generally means I'll use light armor, a Bow and a Sword, lockpicking and a bit of useful magic. Fallout, no matter how I play, I eventually end up an unstoppable tank anyhow by the end. Why talk my way out of trouble when I can just shoot my way out more reliably? What use is sneaking if I can just leave a trail of my shattered enemies? Because the game makes violence both the most reliably useful and indeed the most fun option, I'm all but forced into violence.

Most times i play a healer type class or support in some way. Not very good at front line combat...

Whatever deals the biggest damage. I am a fire mage is WoW, but in Oblivion I find stealth doesn't work that well, for like of silent killing, and the psychic guards etc. so I justs sneak in, get one big hit then carve up all else.

Here is my Fallout 3 character:

As you can probably tell from that... I prefer sneaky types who surprise their foes through ambush, sniping, and infiltration. Rarely do I ever actually involve myself in direct conflict. My personality is very much the same way. :)

I usually just try to play as the strong one, that can indeed just wail on everything it sees. The sneaky types are fun too, but I'm too paranoid sometimes that I'll get stuck and not be able to finish a game. xD; So, I like to ensure I'll be able to finish the story and see the ending.

-is a wimpy gamer sometimes- :(

That is cool. What mods are you running? :D
Alot. FWE and MMM are the two big ones, but I also run alot of other mods that add items to the game that improve my immersion, add special things that I like, and giving myself alot more hair styles to choose from. That character in hat picture actually isn't as modded as alot of people would probably think. Only the hair and the backpack in that picture can't be obtained from the original game.

MMM? I know what FWE is but I don't get the MMM acronym :( Yeah, though I figured the armour was modded too. Nicely made character though. Makes me want to play fallout 3 again, but I never get very far... it's one of those 'so close, yet so far' games for me. Maybe I should go trawling for these 'immersion boosting' items because that was really my main problem. FWE helped a lot with it but just not quite enough.

Mart's Mutant Mod, or something like that. Basically it adds variety to in-game enemy NPC's so that you are not fighting clones all the time. It does alot of other things too, but its another mod that adds alot to immersion. Oh, and the world is a much more violent place with it.

FalloutJack presents...the Lone Wanderer...Jack.

He likes being quick on the draw, such as incinerating Mr. Burke two seconds before Sheriff Lucas can be shot.
Wait? you can do that?
