Only rage quit against hacks and cheats which is usually accompanied with, "say hi to the moderators/staff for me." and subsequently report them if it's a viable option. Unless is a League of Legends bot in a game, those are hilarious because of how easy they are to spot. At which point I slaughter them and then report post game.

If I have to bow out for something I'll inform them politely and apologize.

Last time I rage-quit I said "y'know what, I'm only slowing you guys down." At the time I'd died 5 times without getting a single kill. (This was Uncharted 2 by the way).

I've never ragequit from a multiplayer game. I leave when things aren't fun, I don't wait to get pissed off... and I don't say a thing.

When I ragequit a single player game I tend to mutter varied curses and go do something productive.

Single Player i tend to get aggravated before i stop trying to beat a certain part or level.

Another time when Playing with terrible team mates, we were going round as a group and once we got ambushed
"Here's my resignation letter" *threw a grenade into my team, disconnected and listen to the sounds of slaughter

I generally do the same too. One other is "have my weapons and money, I dont need them" and chuck weapons all over the place.
