Oxygen, nitrogen, and I think that is... Argon? Yeah, Argon too. I think there is more, but I can't seem to see what is... What? Oh, you want a non-douche answer? Fine... Fine...
Currently to my left is my AC and some computer components.

A wall and a lamp...
Shut up, me to.
It's a small world after all.
*Looks suspiciously to the right* Ah... must be a different wall and lamp.

You can see colourless gases? Is there by any chance some sort of spectroscopic equipment to your left?

Radiator...

Well that was a fun post. Looking UP and left there are 2 dead Xboxes that the shop I got them from wouldn't take back when they spat hot solder at me.

to my left i see my tv, further to the left i see the empty doorway to the kitchen, in the kitchen i see a microwave, a sink full of "clean" dishes, and a large jug of white vinegar, as well as the kitchen window. Through the kitchen window i see mostly trees, and some of the house across the street.

Just my eyes. You can see air, it's simular to seeing water, though air is easier for light to go through. It's like looking at a road in summer, you can see the heat radiating off the road. So yes, I see air to my left. Technically.

A wall. And some curtains.

Down on the floor to the left is a set of speakers, a load of empty Diet Coke bottles and Sainsbury's carrier bags. And a copy of The Guardian from a few weeks ago.

That's really not very exciting.

Nope. Water absorbs visible light. Air doesn't. You might see some slight light refraction if there is a large temperature gradient to your left (along with some air turbulence), but this seems unlikely.

Edit: NB. also that seeing air is a lot different from being able to assign each of the constituent parts.
