In a semi-serious response, probably a bunch of drugs that he stabs Gordon with to alter his perception of time and make him wig out while the G-man makes his speeches. He's also very skilled at running about stealthily, and probably has a tracker planted on/in Gordon.
His soul eating machine! And a hour glass that tells him how long until he dies, he could flip it over and live for ever!
Valve's paperwork for the new Half-Life sequel...It explains why we never see the G-man, Valve hasn't seen him either.
From my study of what sorts of things a person like the G-Man would keep close at hand, I've narrowed it down to two possibilities;

An entire galaxy, known for its ligers and gravitic manipulation devices that used their hyper-advanced technology to reduce the size of their own galaxy to fight off entropy and other forces threatening to destroy their way of life, the galaxy latching onto the nearest metaphysical object that could hold them, the suitcase of the G-Man, who was laughing his ass off as his home galaxy died, watching from the outside.
