Kingdom Under Fire: The Crusaders.

All the fighting was pretty good but the map moving was a bit awkward.

Giants: Citizen Kabuto

God, damn, that game was amazingly fun, even more so in multiplayer, all ten people who had it..
Two who bought it and eigth who downloaded it...

viking. that wasn't a great game, but it's worth a play and it didn't receive great reviews.

The Darkness was way underrated and I don't know of any hype about. I thought it was fucking brilliant

Also Dark Sector, which I think remains mostly unheard of. It seemed very rushed and rough around the edges, but had some great concepts and was completely awesome. I would have liked to see a ZP review but apparently it's banned in Australia

I am honestly surprised that Left 4 Dead is on so many people's lists here. Seriously, Left 4 Dead is, by no means, underrated, and ESPECIALLY not under hyped. I heard faaaaaar too much about it before it even came out. Personally, I think Valve is overrated, myself.

I'm going to go ahead and say Bloody Roar: Primal Fury/Extreme. That's my personal favourite fighting game, Primal Fury actually is. I really think the Bloody Roar series as a whole is underrated in favour of more "popular" games like... Tekken. God forbid. Now I don't know if Bloody Roar: Primal Fury was under hyped... but I think it's definitely underrated.
i totally agree with you there. i've been hooked on the BR games since the first one!

Hmmm... I'll go out on a limb here and say Ghost Recon: Summit Strike. The multiplayer was awesome but the online community eventually died. :(

Guilty Gear XX #Reload

Well I'd probably put Accent Core on the list but I haven't played it.

Basically it's like this.

GGXX>All fighting games.

I played a lot fighting games but not one is as fun and balanced as Guilty Gear XX series. Well maybe not balanced but each character can be pretty deadly.

The World Ends With You

That has to be by far the greatest RPG ever made on the DS and none of my friends know about it.

I also don't see or hear anybody talking about this game.
How about now?
Hype is garbage! CRUNCH! I'll add it to the heap!

Actually, I agree with you. The only thing I've ever been asked about it is "Oh, is that that JRPG where you have to wear popular clothes?" That gets old after a while.

sorry but they were hyping that game years after it came out. Hell I just saw something on it on tv the other day and it's soooo old now...

I'm going to have to say psychonauts, a few people tried to push it as the original gem it was, but in general it received no real recognition.

Bit old but star trek armada was a fantastic rts, and it still looks pretty damned good.
