The First one is truely one of the greatest star wars games only second to SW KOTOR, The Second Unleashed sucked alot... they added some cool stuff (dual-wielding lightsabers and new force powers) but they shortend the game (first one is around 8-12 hours) second one is around 5-6 hours, and the final fight is just terrible... i hope they make a third that takes the best from both.

Despite what most people say about the game(or atleast my friends), I really enjoyed the first one. I never actually beat it. I marathoned most of the first game in a day, But after unlocking the last level, I never again. I didnt even load the last level. DUe to the nature of the internet, I know the ending because of spoilers and youtube videos. As for the second one, Havent played the game, But i read the book and comics(I'm so boring).

It's like a simulation of how to murder storm troopers in interesting ways. Aside from this, there's not much fun to be had. Though any game that lets me pick dudes up and throw them and has rag doll physics is something I'll play from time to time when I need to blow off steam. My other personal favorite is Prototype because dicking around can be fun as hell.

I really liked the first one, in spite of some control issues and lackluster boss fights. Then the 2nd one came along and it was awful in every single aspect (story, controls, level design, combat). However, if a 3rd one is made I'll still check it out because I think this series has a great deal of untapped potential.

The story from Force Unleashed is great, honestly. The first one was good, albeit short and mixed with bugs. Nothing that was too special though.

But the second one, I don't even wanna discuss it. Just a terrible, unnecessary sequel.

As someone who worked for FileFront in the Jedi Academy portion...

Screw you, Force Unleashed. You made so many people think being anime-jumpers is hurrcool.

The first was a great game; very high production value, with great voice acting, great plot, great gameplay and nice graphics.

The second was like a first time having sex. Completely epic, but over in 5 minutes.

The first one was great if you didn't follow any of the hype. Never played the second other than a demo, so I can't comment on it.

I liked the first one quite a bit. I am one of the few people that not only considers the prequels cannon, but I think Revenge of the Sith was quite good.
Because of this, I loved the way it bridged the gap of the movie trilogies.
I thought the gameplay was awesome. It just felt like TRUE Force powers. I even loved the infamous Star Destroyer part.

The second one on the other hand... Was a short turd. The story made no goddam sense, the gameplay was unchanged and, Oh Yeah, IT WAS FOUR HOURS LONG!!!

However, I LOVED the Hoth and Endor Alternate universe DLC. They were well made and come on, who doesn't love punting Ewoks?

I enjoyed the 1st one, the 2nd one was pretty poor. I really do want a new battlefront though.

I liked the first one, especially the way it felt like Star Wars without reminding me of the horrible things in the prequels. The game itself was average, the material effects were fun to see but ended up not being too important in the gameplay. That said, I was really pumped for the second game until they revealed there were clones in it.

Because after Vader's secret apprentice turning on him, making hundreds of clones seems like a perfectly logical option. /sarcasm

First one was amusing to watch. Second one was a pile of shit and another Lucas Star Wars cash grab.

Well... I liked the Force Unleashed (the first one, the second one was so terribly lacking)...

And the Apprentice is not overpowered (I refuse to call him "Starkiller"). Most people are confusing the gameplay with what he could do within the cutscenes. It's just Like the DMC games (the ones we all know and love, not the NT nonsense) where the cutscenes show Dante as this invincible smarmy ass-beater while the gameplay tells a completely different story unless you've sat down on the game for a few months.

That reminds me, I think I'll go ahead and get started on that music video I've been planning. Eh, I'll do it after I get all the parts to my new PC; I'll need the extra processing power...

I liked the first one even though there were some downright stupid decisions made when it came to gameplay, like the Star Destroyer scene and, having enemies that can block just about anything.

I played a demo of the second one and thought it was nothing but wasted potential. Force Unleashed was it's own self-contained piece of Star Wars history, answering a question I don't think any of us asked. The second one seemed unnecessary.

I think Force Unleashed would have been much better off as an anthology series like Final Fantasy. The Star Wars universe is teeming with force users who could rip shit up with nothing but their minds and a lightsaber or two. I don't care about Desmond's clone, I would have rather played as Ulic Quel-Droma or, Naga Sadow or, Jacen Solo. Exar Kun would have also made for a bad ass player character now that I think about it...

During the games development cycle, they kicked around the idea of playing as a Wookiee with no force affinity. Can you imagine what it would have been like ripping up Imperial installations and mechs with your bare hands? They ultimately decided no because they wanted a character who could emote...I'll just let that statement hang.

Personally, I hated the two of them, so very very much. Thay had nice graphics and their gameplay were reasonably fun, but there are no words in mortal languages that can express my hatred towards their stories, seriously.

I mean, in the first game Darth Vader trains a secret apprentice who is WAY more powerful than anyone who ever showe dup in anything with Star Wars on its title, only to raise a rebellion, then proceeds to try to kill him and the rebels. Really? Am I the only one who thinks that's utter crap?

In the second game Starkiller revives as a clone, which is the lamest possible way to bring someone back from the dead, it would be better to say he just spontaneously resurrected for no apparent reason. Then the horribly whinning and overpowered clone goes on a 3 hour stroll to find his lost love, because he can't do anything without it, including change his diapers (that's probably why the game is so fucking short). And I don't even want to talk about the endings! The first game was already horrible, but the second is just abominable.

I feel that the TFU series are shemelessly whoring the Star Wars Universe in a way that's a bilion times worse than George Lucas himself has ever managed it. I will just pretend that the games are an alternative Star Wars universe used only to show how NOT to write a story.
