No. Please, DON'T make any more fallout games. It will be better that way.

Fallout 2 was about the Enclave using FEV to destroy the people of the mainland.
Well, to be fair, that was revealed in the very last part of the game, the Enclave oil derrick. The main plot revolved around finding GECK to save your village.

5. More customisation
6. Romance?
7. Better graphics
8. New enviroment

10. Easier alliences
11. Able to run a base

In the next Fallout, I would like a change in environment. Maybe a different country, It would be interesting to see how the rest of the World is going. Other things that could be included are dynamic crosshair, A hot-key for grenades and dynamic weather.

I want to be the Enclave.

I said this in the Fallout 3 Let's Play thread just yesterday, but it needs to be said now too. The Enclave led by Eden and and the principle behind the modified FEV virus seem really good to me, I want to be able to side with them like I could side with Caesar in New Vegas. I want to see what it's like to play from the Enclave perspective, rather than some guy from the Vault who's always got to be the good guy and save the day for the other good guys.

At the heart of it, better morality.

I'd like to see mounts I guess. Urgh, I dunno. I just want to see fallout, but more of an epic scale. Fallout was big, but everything was so puny in relation to RL. The megaton blast for instance. Tenpenny tower is about a mile away. Why didn't the entire wasteland get obliterated? It was a nuke dammit! And a pretty big one at that!

If those Chinese can't get nukes to destroy more than 100 meter's squared in 2077, then damn.

A motorbike would have been great in New Vegas, include a fuel system to add to the survival element. More humour, I liked it in New Vegas. And a London setting. I know people keep saying it has to be in America but imagine a group like the Kings except based around Sid Vicious or something, it would be awesome, plus it would be super urban.

I want new vegas with the exploration that3 had if they can manage that anything else is gravy and really based off of feedback it looks like most people agree, less bugs would be awsome QA was virtually non existent in new vegas but besides the bugs and the exploration theres no real specific improvements I want.

Isometric view? /snark

How about a game thats built around the full 50 hour experience and not the 10 hour main quest?
Replace vats with a better more balanced better thought out system, that or give me slow motion+25%speed up on my character...that would work too!

No, 50's themes! Thats all I want. It's takes place in the future, so make it a future setting please!
The world is stuck in as it was because of a nuclear war and the resulting nuclear winter.

The survivors have more important things to worry about such as getting enough food and water (or means to) to live day to day, and not getting killed by people wanting to do the same.

No one other than the BoS and the Enclave really has the resources or time to reasearch new tech and both will keep it to themselves for various reasons.

Anyway I would like to see a setting just after the first vaults opened (around 15-20 years I believe) after the bombs fell either as one of those Vault dewellers or as a survior of the intial bombing. As for the location I'd like to see a larger part of the Arizona Wasteland.

Two words: London setting!
I'm an American, I support this.
Europe has a SHIT ton of places, the London setting would mean no Vault boys to FUCK it up.
I'd quite like to see a bombed out, ruined Paris too. Or Rome. Both of these, and London, would be awesome.

On-Topic: Obsidian Entertainment. They know how to actually make a good Fallout game, unlike Bethesda.
Great here we go agin, ok what was your problem with fallout 3.(i will humor you)
Let's see:

Story was an absolute joke with virtually no choice given to the player character (Shit, it might as well have been a completely different franchise).

The characters were laughable at best; completely one-dimensional and almost cartoony in a sense with zero depth given to them.

Bethesda didn't seem to understand the concept of dark humor, which is a fairly major thing in the Fallout franchise.

They completely ruined the lore in regards to the Enclave, the BoS and the F.E.V.... I'd even go as far as to say that they butchered the BoS.

Really, there are several other things too, but I'll just leave it as this for the time being.

Three Words: Stay. in America.

A setting in Europe would not only remove what made Fallout Fallout but also would break the lore. Europe and most of the rest of the world is gone, it was bombed to hell, like three or so times. (Not talking one bomb drop, but many bombs dropped each time.)
This guy actually gets it. Bravo.
I'm gonna say first off we're not gonna agree on much so I'm gonna say what I agree with first.

The story was yeah pretty meh, and the dark humour definitely dropped several notches but I still enjoyed the game. I have enjoyed all the fallout games greatly.

Now that thats out a the way,
I don't see how they messed up the Enclave, other then perhaps they were supposed to be gone after 2 or somethin, The BoS wasn't slaughtered although the outcasts were a better representation of the actual BoS and Lyons groups should have been the real outcasts. It is mentioned that they are seperated from the western BoS.
After consulting the wiki... Please tell me how they F@#$ up the FEV

The setting could go out of the US sure the other areas were more devastated but that could be a good reason to go there since the US is getting back on its feet(slowly but surely) they could go out to the rest of the world and find it is just shit full of subhuman mutants and wildlife from the areas that didn't have anything to bomb. Ya know.

But seriously how did they mess up the FEV
In regards to the Enclave, weren't they supposed to dead? What the hell are they doing in D.C.? Bethesda resurrected a faction because they couldn't pull something original out their rectum; fine, whatever.

The Brotherhood of Steel: Why are they also in D.C.? When did they suddenly become a bunch of white knight purists? Why am I forced to side with them?

Speaking of D.C., why are there super mutants here? They're not supposed to stretch out that far.

The F.E.V. was supposed to only be in California.

All in all, those were some major lore inconsistencies.
