Dude, you can just embed youtube videos! You just have to do [Oyoutube=] (DELETE THE O) then copy and past the random jumble of stuff after the = and before the & if it has one. It's easy!Drake the Dragonheart said:Snip
Thanks for the tip, it has been awhile since I regularly used these boards.ToastiestZombie said:Dude, you can just embed youtube videos! Dude, quote this post and copy everything in between the quote commands. You don't put in the whole URL, you put the random jumble of letters and numbers that are after watch?v= and before the & if the URL has that.Drake the Dragonheart said:"To The Stars" by Randy Edelman from the Dragonheart soundtrack, there had better not be a single dry eye while that is playing. or
The great James Brown. If I go with the second one, everyone better be movin' and groovin', I don't care if they can dance or not.
Or perhaps I would go with the final charge scene music from the Last Samurai.
my final choice would be the excellent "blood of cuchulainn" theme from the Boondock Saints.
I've never watched Avatar, and don't plan to (it just really isn't my type of show, I don't really like shows that have a big narrative but don't have the writing a more adult show has) but damn that second song nearly made me cry. May I ask what the context of that song was? Because unless some sort of massive character has died, I don't see that being in a kids show.Gabanuka said:Snip
Basically one of the primary Villains has an old Uncle named Iroh, Iroh is the only person who sees the good in him. One episode (the best one) you see Iroh spending a day generally helping people and being awesome and it turns out its the birthday of his dead son. He sings that song.ToastiestZombie said:I've never watched Avatar, and don't plan to (it just really isn't my type of show, I don't really like shows that have a big narrative but don't have the writing a more adult show has) but damn that second song nearly made me cry. I dunno if I should though, I've had too much spoiled to me about it that really there won't be any big surprises. Also, I rarely ever sit down and watch TV anymore, a show has to be really special to me to get me to do that. The only two shows I ever watch now are MLP and The Walking Dead, those two just make me happy, excited and are really really special for me. I don't think watching Korra would give me that feeling. Also, I know it's just me but I don't like the animation style at all, it's the same reason I've never liked non stylized Anime. I don't like it when cartoons have realistic, un stylized characters. I'd rather see the heavily stylized style of Adventure Time or My Little Pony.Gabanuka said:Basically one of the primary Villains has an old Uncle named Iroh, Iroh is the only person who sees the good in him. Seriously, watch the show, its one of the best cartoons ever made. Period.
