Incorperate a way to be able to change your characters appearence!

Also work a way for xbox players to be able to get some mods, like being able to make xbox specific mods

Let me play Oblivion real quick and i will get back to you.
Wonder if i can still pick up Morrow wind ?
They are like FF though right, in that they arent linked ?
Or are they like tales in a story line ?
They are linked in that they take place in the same world in the same time period. However they take place on other sides of the world so you don't need any knowledge of the other games, in real life terms it's like one story taking place in Australia and another in England during the same time period

Online Multiplayer?

Also, a levelling system similar to Fallout 3. I found Oblivion's to be unnecessarily complicated.

Also, scrap the feature that makes enemies level when you do. Not cool.

Naked werewolves mounted and fast travelling to climb ropes and fight liches in hoods (if anyone gets that I will be very surprised).

Also, I know its not going to be this, but of course I think my idea is the best ever:

Something that doesn't grind like a mmorpg.
I like oblivion but i hated the fact it was grind city.
Good voice actors would be nice. Having more then a few Groups you could choose to be friends/Enemies with would be cool too.
A better police system would be nice then in oblivion's guards with esp.
Better Armour would also be nice like have the Armour increase stats somewhat for having the set, less endless caves too.
I hate how most of the quests you go ended with you in some monster filled cave.

More talking varity would be nice.
Make crafting semi-worth the time/investment.
I did like how you could haggle in oblivion.
No fast travel.
Seriously think about it.

I'd love to see an Elder Scrolls game that is as big as Daggerfall and at the same time as tight, alive and interesting as Shivering Isles. I'd also like to wake up next to Jessica Alba and have her make me breakfast.

Better spells.
Fallout 3-style violence.
Yea, it would be fun to blow peaople up with fireballs.

I mostly hope for a good modding tool like Morrowind and Oblivion had, then it won't matter what they screw up.

I'm playing Morrowind again right now, and I can say whole heartedly that I want the next game to be the same. Same UI, same combat system, same leveling system, same skills, same weapons, armor, spells, enemies...

They dumbed down Oblivion so much, that I find it unplayable at this point. Weapons always strike regardless of your skill, spells were removed, weapons were removed, skills were removed, you had to go "in doors" to go in a city, all the enemies were so standard, it felt worse than average. The leveling system makes it fucking annoying to power level. The enemies auto-leveling system pretty much negated the point of your character's leveling. Enchanting was a pain in the ass because none of your enchantments would recharge. No teleporting system to carry overburdened loot to town. "Rare" weapons and armor were commonplace from all the leveled NPCs so you never had to work for that set of Daedric armor. Ugh, I feel like I could rant forever on what Oblivion did wrong.

I DO NOT WANT another Oblivion. I know I'm not going to be satisfied with TES V, because Bethesda obviously liked what they did to Oblivion, even though I think they ruined it.

More dialogue options, more actual choices, more substantial consequences, more actual roleplaying, more factions, more voice actors, more Michael Kirkbride, and more political intrigue (the most interesting part of TES 2 and 3).

Less generic Western fantasy cliches and dumbing down of your own fucking lore. (Remember when Cyrodil used to be a jungle?)

Get rid of the auto-scaling enemies and the stupid fucking compass. Make the player ask for directions - it's a role-playing game. Plus, it's not that hard to do.

Make gold worth something.
A million houses are'nt woth it if the items are semi-bland.
Also i hated how if you paid for the extra downloads you had a basic "i win" add-on.
