Well lets just start by ignoring my animé collection which is over 980 items (by items I mean a seven volume series is counted as seven items but a seven disc boxset is counted as one).

I've a growing collection of Blu-rays, and am slowly trying to replace some DVDs with Blu-ray versions where possible.

I've a wide range of Disney and Pixar films and other animation, Asian films including martial-arts and horror, some great comedy like the Naked Gun series or Fawlty Towers, lots of Doctor Who and other sci-fi and fantasy stuff, super-hero films like all the Batman movies (inc. the 1966 film).

I've also just got back from seeing Rango in the cinema but before I went to the cinema I bought the following films on Blu-ray...perhaps they'll give a clue to my tastes.

Bruce Lee's Enter the Dragon
Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within
The Dam Busters
The Rocky Horror Picture Show
Psychoville (not a movie but a UK TV show)
The Girl with the Dragon Tatto

I have too much to list, however...

It says I don't like blue-ray, cling to VHS too much, have too much money on my hands and like war, drama and films that are considered classics a whole lot.

My movie collection tells me that even though I may be an action freak, I still keep in touch with my inner child. (Rambo, Commando, Casino Royale, Die Hard, etc. as well as tons of Disney movies.)

It says I would of been a well known, sea faring Bandit if I was born a couple of centuries ago.

However if I owned the movies I like then I think it would say that I have awesome taste in movies.

Hmm, I'd have to say... substance abuser. Technically ex-substance abuser. My modest film collection is pretty much all drug-related dramas or comedies.

My fiancées film collection on the other hand says: Sleepless film nerd. She has almost got more films than I have got games, and that says a lot, seeing as my game collection is starting to take over it's second bookshelf.

Look at all of the movies you own AND enjoy actually owning. These movies are your collection.
Why buy a movie you do not wanna own ?

As for me that would be an absurd long list.
It ranges from east to west movies.
Oldest is made in 1951 till now.
Genres range from horror to musicals.

What does that say about me .. I have a wide range in taste
