Hahaha! Okay.. my dad doesn't seem to quite get it yet. He knows how to check his email (barely), and that you can download music somehow, usually with the aid of my brother or myself. It's a wily, mysterious form of black magic, and he's happy where he is; he has a hard enough time getting Winamp to do what he wants sometimes.
Mom, on the other hand, is quite pretty good with Facebook (and uses the shit out of Mafia Wars), still sends chain mails, and I'm pretty sure has discovered LOLcats. She also plays online Backgammon, which I think is the reason she went on the internet in the first place; any time she wants, and doesn't have to wait for a real person.
I think they're pretty typical, actually. My dad got a diploma in computer somethingorother when I was 7 or something, back when it was hip to buy a computer that you built yourself... he still thinks he knows everything. That was eighteen years ago. Daddy, to put it into perspective, the laptop I had that I gave up on two years ago is beyond obsolete.
